Jeremy, am I missing something? Im following the tutorial you linked me to. But this campaign is not listed as active?
I've been trying to get my image there for a half hour now and am fed up.
Please help me someone, I got it to my photos ok, but cannot get it to the campaign 'cause its not listed.

The campaign gallery is in the 2010 campaign folder (the galleries are created as the year the campaign starts rather than the year it will finish) It is located
here
Mine uploaded to the gallery as normal and without any problems. You may need to sign in with your username when you click the above link as I dont think it will pull your loggin details through

a bit more decaling done.....still more to go...
there were large areas of clear decal between the numbers and stripes on the body and because of the dark base colour they showed up badly,so i had to cut them out once they were on the model, not really difficult but i'd not done that before.

Just to note that Aeroscale don't locate the galleries in the same place as that guide you following for Armorama.
Once you're logged into the gallery go to Aeroscale
Then go to Aeroscale Campaigns
Then go to Campaigns 2010
Then Click on Origami Campaign
Then you should be able to upload the photos as per the rest of the guide.

While assembling my Bearcat I came to step 19 of the instructions and spied a most unusual color call-out..
Hmm.. metallic green tyres..
Mr Trumpeter, get someone who knows a bit about the English language to proof-read your instruction sets BEFORE you send them to the printer.

OK.. Even though this thread looks as though it is not too well, here are the photos of my completed Trumpeter 1/32 Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat.
I mixed the navy blue up combining Tamiya X-4 and some darker, greyer Gunze 54. None of the paints suggested by the paint charts that I could get look anything like the colour I was after, and the colour called out by Trumpeter is a Mr Hobby colour which I cannot get anywhere in Brisbane. The only other one I could get would have been Tamiya X-17 but it seems to green to me, well in the batch I am using anyway.
Keep on plugging away people.

Come on, you've never seen natural metallic green rubber?
Bearcat looks real good btw. Were you hoping for a darker shade of blue?

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it would be accurate to use the F4F-3 Eduard PE cockpit set in my F4F-4?

I have started on my 1/48 Matchbox FJ-4J Fury for this campaign. Needless to say the kit is very basic regarding the details, but it makes up for it in nostalgia. In addition the kit has the option of folded wings. I have added a little detail to the wing folds, but references were scarce so I kept it basic. After all it should fit the rest of the kit.
More to follow.

Hi all.
@ Jeremy, not really.. That is about the shade I wanted in natural light. Under the camera flash it looks a lot lighter.
And I am sorry but I just couldn't bring myself to so metallic green tyres..
Nice Fury by the way. Wish they would do a 1/32 version. You listening Mr Trumpeter?

Nice build, Paul. The Suez stripes really makes this a colorful bird. I like the worn look of the wings.
Thanks for sharing.

I have made a little more progress on my Fury.
The basic camouflage is now on after several coats of white. It is not always the multi colour plastic parts of old Matchbox kits help.
The semisoft demarkation lines on the sides of the fuselage came out as I wanted them. Next are the details painting and a few touch ups.
More to follow.

Hey All,
Nice Corsair Paul! The color makes the whole thing.
Well, with 3 weeks to go, I'm just starting my attempt.
So it's 3 weeks for the Swordfish, a sub, and some figures. Good thing I have all that free time between 02:00 and 05:00.
This should be interesting.

With everything that's been going on I may not be able to start and finish my entry on time. If there is going to be another origami campaign I can save my build for that.
