Very nice build, Lapman. Looks great!

I have made a little more progress on my old Matchbox FJ-4 Fury. Next is the decals.

More to follow.....

Decals are now on. Next some final weathering.

Due to some travelling with work I might be pressed to finish in time. Is it possible to get a few weeks extension?

Finished my 32 scale Trumpeter Swordfish, had a few fit issues with the smoke and flare canisters for this bird.

Added a few details, such as foil to replicate the two mirrors and added a few artificial light lenses.

Nice stringbag, Rob. Looks good.

I have now finished my 1/48 Matchbox FJ-4 Fury. I put in some extra time on it Friday and Saturday and managed to get it done in the nick of time.

An enjoyable build although the lack of detail reflects the age of the kit. I decided to keep weathering to a minimum. Firstly because weathering would be limited to seaspray on a carrier, secondly because there where no panel lines or details to bring forward by washes or highlights.

It was fun to participate. The quality of the builds in this campaign is outstanding!

Thanks for the comment, Paul. It has been a great run campaign and I am glad I got it done in time.

Thanks for taking the initiative for the campaign.

heysus crisco! as my Mexican friends exclaim. I need to get on the ball.
Here's where I'm at as of 11:00 today

I opted for wire instead of PE. Considering the wire is free and it's representing... wire that makes it a win-win in my book. Unfortunately it was almost as difficult as PE (may just be me). Next, mask it off and a (hopefully) quick coat of primer.
