Quick question for Dave (campaign leader):
I started a Strike Eagle build for the loony tunes campaign in early April but was unable to finish it in time to earn a ribbon there due to some bad luck with the kit decals.
Would you allow me to finish that build in this campaign? I started within the right time frame, but I of course posted my in progress stuff in that thread.
here is my first post (1/3 of the way down the page) in that campaign:
https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/forums/200443&ord=&page=6 anyway, this request follows the letter of the law, but perhaps not your interpretation of the intent. Let me know what you think (no worries if you don't think it is appropriate)

Well i have made a start on the E2 and i have to say that this kit is very nice indeed the panel lines and rivet detail are great and the fit is also very nice.I have built up the cockpit section and glued it into the fuzz , I didnt go mad with the detail as most of it will be hard to see but heres a few pics of what i have done so far...

more coming soon

About time I threw my hat in the ring with this one. My bird of choice is this:

A Desert Falcon, only my Desert Falcon will look more like this...

Loaded out with 4 x AMRAAM and 2 x AIM-9M for operations over Libya in 2011.
Using the Kinetic 1/48 kit

Hi all

,
I know, it is a long time ago that I have posted the last time. But sometimes there are more important things than modelling (how silly this sounds, but unfortunately true

).
My Italeri Harrier GR Mk.3 build has come to a complete standstill due to the bad quality of the kit. I prefer to do the fortcoming Airfix new-release which looks much better. Maybe I can use some of the already prepared small parts.
So I am out of this campaign but I will watch all projects here with interest. Keep building!
Best regards,
Sebastian

spent a few hours on the hawk yesterday. Mainly joining the fuse and wings, and then filler and rescribing, damn thats time consuming.

And undercarriage

Hope to get some more done today.
Cheers Pete

Well I managed to get some paint on my Hawk, and a few decals. The decals are Xtradecal superb, they lay down great and conform well to panel lines well with a little set and sol.

Still a few decals to put on, and a few bits to finish, but getting there.
