Thanks for the comment, Peter.
The A-6 is now done. There are small mistakes here and there, but overall I am very satisfied.
It was build staight out of the box and comes together well for a kit from the late 80'ties.

Really nice work going on here everyone! Navy aircraft are one of my faves, I can't believe I never participated in this one. Oh well...
Nevertheless, only a few days left to finish up, so better get crackng!

Hi mates, I'm again under time pressure because of a holiday trip last week...
So I'm working along on my "Queen of Stencils"
I hope I can still finish in time with all parts glued on....
Cheers
Peter

More decals on, but not all yet. I wanted the canopy fixed before which offered unpleasant fitting issues, so I had to use a clamp during the night to let the glue dry and hold it in place
There is still space between the canopy frame and fuselage that I will fill with Krystal Clear and paint afterwards. I only hope I can finish till 1st of October

Looks very nice so far, Lap Man
Good luck for the finish!
I must still mount the Sparrows on my bird, then it's done!

So close, about 4 decals left and then hang the fiddly bits. Might get it done tonight.

Finished!!!!!!!
Same here, i took one of the Academy F-18's out of my stash for this one.
The model was built with no real issues (nose could be tricky)however when building i looked at some pictures and thought that i might be able to get the flaps down and this was actually so easy that i would recommend it
I sprayed it with cheap grey primer and then with a mix of Tamiya grey paints, added some other shades of (Vallejo) grey before a coat of future.
To many decals in the sheet, takes 4ever to get them on :-) Academy printed but very good quality. Best thing about grey is that the the model will get nicely weathered with several colors grey, i still need to do some oils but for now it's ok.
Nice difersity of models in this campaign, great stuff!
