Hi Gábor
At first glance, I thought it was some sort of Antoinette, and headed off on that path. While I was hunting I came up with this. It looks like, before designing Anoinettes, Léon Levavasseur built a series of Gastambide-Mengin monoplanes - and the last postcard has a suspiciously similar undercarriage to the one in your picture.
All the best

Cheers Gábor
That was a great question! I found the early-aviation sites I had to visit to hunt the aircraft down really fascinating.
You want something British? Your wish is my command! What's this?:

Hi Rowan
It helps by having access to Putnams The British Bombers and The British Fighter.
Can anyone identify this aircraft?

Hi David!
If I'm not wrong, the 1/48 scale kit of this bird is currently on sale at Hannants... if someone wants to give it a go... it's only £6.99!

Hi Martin
Yep! Arguably the most tragic "what if" of British aviation. Has anyone got the Airfix kit? I've been hearing mixed reports about it, to say the least...
Over to you for the next one.
