Hi there
Time to start a new thread, so I'll kick it off with this neat little fighter; what is it? (and I've Photoshop-ed out any obvious markings this time.

) :

Hi Rowan.
Is it a Reggiane 2000?
It's not the same, better, but not the same...

Hi there
No, it's not a Reggiane 2000. A Zero rip-off?... well, by way of a clue, let's just say this isn't Japanese and it wasn't anything like as successful as the Zero.
All the best

Hi again Nigel
No - not a Caproni Ca.311, but you are very definitely on the right lines (I'll say no more...)
All the best

Caproni F5. By Italian standards of the period, the F.5 was an advanced fighter. The prototype was followed by 14 production aircraft. The fighters were assigned to the 51st Stormo and the 8th Brigata Caccia Terrestre for the defense of Rome, first as night fighters and then as day fighters.
Does anyone make a kit of this in 1/48.
Andy

Hi Andy
That's right.

My refs call it the Caproni Vizzola F.5. It does look very neat - and, sadly, I've never seen a plastic kit of it - but there might be a resin one out there...
Over to you for the next one.
Rowan

Hi all!
Here's another one from my "private collection"... this time I know what it is! :-)

I removed the serial but even without, it shouldn't be too difficult to find what it is I think...

Hi Jean-Luc
No it is not.
Man I thought this thingie is really easy as you found much more obscure aircraft, prototypes with no further a/c built. This one was in duty .... or is it me???
best wishes
