Mmmmmmmm, mental image of Natalie Wood covered in whipped cream!

Don't think she'd look so good in whipped cream nowadays.

Here is why it's important to conduct a thorough preflight inspection.

I'm amazed that the wind didn't push the cat off the top of the wing.

WOW!!! Not a very good place to have a cat nap.

Luckily the wing was hollow. Didn't look like that was the cat's first time doing that either. Watch it again and you'll see. Most cat's would of scrambled out of there and ripped up the wing when the engine fired up trying to get out, not this cat.

See ya the funnies...................

Apparently kitty is the club mascot, and he was none the worse for his impromptu ride.

The wing is hollow so kitty crawled in to have a catnap. There was very little chance for him to be blown off.

Labatts? Bleah! We have real beer we could be drinking instead of that swill.

Today's menu is Poutine

Beaver tails

And some proper beer

Imported foods like hamburgers, potato salad and trivia like that will also be available.
Entertainment will be provided by the Arrogant Worms

Here in the Great White North we hold out Autumn harvest feast when the Autumn harvest actually happens.
This gives us two and a half months to diet before Christmas.

It is almost the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

Lest we forget.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

- John McCrae

I'm not sure. I had a bourbon or two and fell asleep under the table. When I woke up everybody was gone!

I think I might just help myself to another bourbon then . .

Suddenly at the far end of the hall at the main doors a cold gust of wind rips through the premisis. An old familar face sticks his head in. Someone told me I could get the best burger in town here! Dressed in a great coat and an older uniform of some distinction in steps JackFlash. Thought you might find this of interest.

Merry Christmas!

Now with enough of the Glenmorangie, maybe I'll try this Fish fingers and custard that's on the menu.
