Hi all!
@Patrik, Jesper and Jean-Luc
Thanks for your nice words, appreciate that!
I should have weathered It a bit more, but I didn´t have the courage (yet!).
@Peter
Love your Tank-buster Stuka!
I have that kit in the stash and now I got some inspiration to build the thing!
This was a great Campaign and there are so many great builds here, some are done and may more on the way!
Cheers!

Hi all,
I have been watching closely and I must say what a great job all of you are doing. It is really inspiring seeing your planes come together. Though it gives me great distress that someone is doing a P-39 as well, and doing a better job than I did, with my backward control stick, misplaced seat belts and all

They too will be ground up to lubricate the gears of progress.

Great to hear people are coming along with their projects. I am started on my HS 129, but progress is slow as I am concentrating on my F-14 for the "Bye Bye, Baby" campaign.
@Eetu: great looking cockpit. I am sure your plane will be stunning!
Here is a picture of the unpainted cockpit of my HS 129. The seatbelts are a free add on form the Kagero book "HS 129 in action".

There are some really stunning builds being shown recently!
The 2 Stukas are especially good!
5 weeks since I touched plastic now and the withdrawl symptoms are terrible.
Cant wait to get going again on my P47!

The airframe of my P-39 is in one piece now. I've taken care of the fuselage seam and attached the gunsight.

The fit was very good, The only places that produced gaps was the wing-fuselage join in the front and the wing didn't meet the back wall of the nose wheel well. Some styrene sheet and putty should take care of them.
Another minor issue was with the left upper wing to fuselage joint, although this was my own mistake. For some reason, I glued the upper wing to the top of the wheel well, resulting in a slighly thinner profile, which didn't match the fuselage perfectly. A little sanding to the fuselage was done before attaching the wing, and some putty and sanding should fix this.

Hi Steffen:
How things are going? Don´t remember what are you going to build for this Campaign. I´m finishing my P 47D in 1/72 (Academy), I believe that tomorrow I´ll post here in the thread the final pics. Next week I´ll start with my second entry, this one in 1/48.
Regards.

Yes it is the Tamiya one and its a dream to put together as its taken roughly three days to get it to the almost finished stage.

That´s one of the things why they´re fantastic kits.

Nice job, keep on posting

Great to see there is a lot of progress going on with the builds in this campaign.
@Rhinosd: Great tank killer you have there. Is this your entry for this campaign?
@Steffen: thanks for the comment. I should not trust the instructions in the Kagero book.

I will check the books again. I think I can break of the seatbelts and reposition them correctly.
@Samantha: Looks great! I love the nose art

Looking forward to see more.
Business and life have kept my busy for some time now, so I am only making slow progress on my F-14 Tomcat. After that I will focus on the Hs-129
Keep sharing your progress pics and comments.
