Gentlemen,
Thank you for the kind words. The -130 was an interesting project - and in the future will be more 130 projects.
But the real important thing now is ..... what is everyone else working on ? Has any really jumped into Revell's A400 yet ? I have yet to see any big choice of markings come out for that one...anyone ?

Bruce! One seriously cool Hercules! Makes "our" TP 84 Hercules transports look a little on the thin side...
And since you're asking so nicely, this is what I've been doing lately:
Its Bulgarian cousin is stalled for the time being, awaiting masks for the fuselage numerals and roundels.
By the way: I don't qualify as "die hard" 144-guy but I like the scale and I try to do at least one box (usually two kits then ) every year!

I am retired and just starting my collection of apx 60 1/144 post-war world fighters and bombers. I am starting with a Su-25, using several magnifiers as needed.

beautiful model. Unfortunately, if I have to compare my finished product with this I should quit now. Question please - what do you use for masking. Thanks

Vic,
The last thing you have to be concerned about with this group is the "Quality" of your models. We're all here because we love the hobby, and especially this scale. And I think I speak for just about all when I say we'll all help anytime when asked. People will not abuse or criticize on this thread, it really is a Great group of modelers that just want to enjoy the hobby and help each other out.
So please relax and enjoy. If you have questions, just feel free to ask the group, there are some really good modelers here...and hackers like myself. So don't worry about your results and just have a good time.
And what say Ye, Gang ? ...................... Bruce
P.S. ... Magnus - That is a gorgeous MiG !!!!!!

Thanks all!
Vic! Sorry, I didn't mean to intimidate someone! I blame the result on 30+ years in the hobby and also the fact that I am badly myopic - usually an annoying handicap but in this one case hugely helpful: without my glasses I can work on stuff very close, the limiting factor is actually my nose!
Jonathan! You don't have to treat me like a God - but I could get used to it ! Thanks! (And I like your builds a lot as well by the way!).
Bruce! Thanks! I'll try to hang around here a bit more!

Hi all.
Just wondering if this is the place to show a 'Work in Progress' build that I am doing, or should I open up a new thread?
It will be (initially at least) a 'cut & paste' from another forum.

I usually start a build thread (I see them as a diary that I can go back to and read through every now and then and keeping them separate from everything else makes them both easier to find and read) but posting a link here and some teaser "in progress"-photos is a good idea I think! It also ensures that you will notify a good bunch of us who are interested in the tiny stuff that something is going on !

On the subject of posting links to small scale stuff, this one could be of interest: my review of Mark I models Ta 152H. It will probably make it to the top of my build pile fairly soon!

Hey Peter, just saw this. You should go ahead and start a build thread.
Click on the "Blog" button and your thread title gets the little gear flag next to it. I think people look for those.
You should also check out some of Magnus's 1/144 scale builds, more MiGs

(why it is called a blog I am not sure).
It's short for Build Log. And indeed, some nice building is going on therein

Greetings microphiles! I just wanted to prove that I am not standing still:} Both are Revell kits out of box. The Tomcat won a silver in Scale Worlds 2015 contest last weekend. Well to be honest I was surprised, it is the first time a jury in Turkey decided to open a sub 1/72 category. Seems like things are changing for better.

Yalym,
I'm really impressed with the overall presentation on that stand. It makes quite modeling statement. Your build looks superb. Expertly built, painted, and decaled. And the weathering is just enough to blend it all together.
Extremely well done.

Beautiful builds! I love that Super Hornet paint scheme! I'll need to try one of the Revell tiny-kits one day!

Hallo Everybody,
I just cleaned up my shelves and blew the dust from some models. Before the dust will fall again onto them, I took some photo´s and want to share them with You.
First, the F-117 from Dragon:

Thank you gentlemen most sincerely.
Joel: What marvellously kind remarks, thank you very much. To be honest both models are , I am a little bit embarrassed to reveal, commission works for separate clients so each have an entirely different paint and weathering/shading techniques. I personally prefer the dirtier looks. Stands are bashed from scrap material.
Magnus: Super Hornet is straight out of box, it is the only scheme the box contains, fits pretty well, decals are really citing well too...and tiny? Come on, your MIGs were half size of those ehehe. I will be looking forward for you to show how they ought to be done. I am serious:}
Oliver: Holy Smoke!!! Your ghost looks better than the last 1/72 one I built for my cousin's girlfriend! Are the figures from Preiser?
