Hi there
Nothing from Postie today, but I went to ModelZone during my lunch-break to buy some Humbrol gloss French Blue ready for the new Planet Models Bugatti Racer and spotted Italeri's 1/48 scale B-25 (ex-Accurate Miniatures) on sale for less than £20, so I couldn't resist grabbing it!
All the best
Rowan
Now that's a great price for those kits, well spotted.
Don't fancy casting me a couple of the nose undercarriage legs do you, I managed to break two of them
. Gorgeous kits though.

Hi all,
This is what I've got today: UM's new GAZ truck and Hauler's PE set for the Tamiya Staff Car...
The GAZ truck kit looks very good in the box and is nicely detailed. I hope it will sell well so that other variants will follow soon!

Hi Andy
I can have a try, but you might be better off writing to Accurate Miniatures. They have a good reputation for their customer service, and if you explain your dilemma they may well help you out. Dare I ask, how did you manage to break
two nosewheel legs - during assembly or on display? Either way, having a pair of these Mitchells out of action is a painful accident!
All the best

Hi again
Postie delivered a package all the way from Hungary today containing what looks set to be a very useful tool - SBS's Rivetter in 1/48 scale:
I'll give it a work-out for Review this week.

Aztek fine line tan nozzle, arrived yesterday. This has proved really hard to come by in LHS's so mail order it was. Happy to have another toy now I can play with preshading and the like.

Hi all
While I was away, I got some more stuff to enlarge the collection:
the DaCo stuff was quite problematic to get as a delivery from Danny went bad (I blame the DPD service just throwing the box into the entrance area and not giving it to a person) .. luckily Danny was interested in satisfying a customer and he resent the stuff ..Thanks again for that!
have to get back to the hospital now ....
all the best

You're welcome. I see you got adapters for non-iwata ABs as well?
This is what I picked up at the LHS today:
Hats off to Special Hobby for picking such an esoteric subject.
I haven't done a side-by-side comparison with Ardpol's kit yet, but it looks like both kits have their pros and cons.

Hi Daniel
Another fine haul of references! JG300 Vols 1 & 2 is the most impressive unit history I've ever read. You're lucky you don't live near me - I'd be 'round pestering you to consult your growing library all the time!
All the best

.
These are great fun little kits, now I have just have too decide what one to build first
.

Hi all
A really exciting package today from Aeroclub. Apart from a fresh supply of their stretchy rigging thread, I bought Koster's 1/48 scale vacuform G3M2 Type 96 Model 22/23 "Nell". Well, I needed a little project to see me through the winter, didn't I!
I'll review the Nell soon.
All the best

I really haven't had much to do with the postman really, but I guess that will have to change. Today I want to a local toy store sellout, and by the word on the street their replacement don't really care too much about us modellists. Anyway, I got these for a bargain.
The 190 is for the butcherbird campaign, the Republic will be cut up and painted Swedish/USAAC like a Philippine defender, like on this photo I stole from Nigel (Thanks for the tip, Nigel).
the 109 G-10 will serve as parts for a what-if 109 from Korea and the 109 F, well, ehmm, I just kinda like 109's. Question now is how to fit a big bubble 190 canopy to a 109 "M".
