Hi again
Just arrived from Kitty Hawk...
When Kitty Hawk announced a 1:32 Flying Flapjack, the overwhelming response here on the Forum was for a 1:48 kit - so it looks like they listened!
I'll get the review started asap.
All the best

Looks like there is a Flapjack in my near future, but a 1/32 scale Kingfisher is a kit I've waited for, and will be buying two of.

.... Of course a P-39 campaign would be just the thing to get me to actually build one or both.
Joel
Wouldn't hesitate to join that, Joel, and can throw in quite a bunch. Need an excuse to build them, as the Cobras in my stash look a bit sad since a while as I have always other plans ....

Well Eduard delivered a very welcome parcel yesterday at CASA Aeroscale.
Eduard's new tool 1/72nd FW 190A-8, along with a load of A.M sets to go with it. Look out for a build blog soon.
And Eduard's re-box of Roden's 1/48th Gladiator.

.... Well not the postman per-se but a belated birthday pressie arrived this weekend from the in-laws.
They are Lancaster daft and loved the idea of me tackling this one.
I'd been agonizing over this project for months and decided it was simply too big to display but my hand has been forced !!!!
I suspect some skullduggery from my partner in subtly agreeing with me that i shouldnt do it, knowing fine well that the gift was coming in the future
Look out for a build blog next year i suspect

Nice one Paul!
I'll definitely be looking to follow the blog - it's a kit we don't see nearly often enough.
Postie's delivered plenty of reading matter to keep me busy, courtesy of Albatros Productions and Fonthill Media:
Even a first flick through the Stirling book shows it's absolutely fantastic.

Nice one Rowan.
I'm in the middle of reviewing Eduard's, Roden based Gladiator, so it should be interesting to see how they compare.

Hi Andy
I haven't fished my Roden and Lindberg Gladiators out of the Stash yet, but my gut feeling is that Merit's kit is going to be by far the easier build, but the profile of the cowling looks wrong - maybe as a result of one compromise too many in the interests of ease of construction...

Nice collection of refs there Rowan
You guys are getting some stuff added to your stash .
Postie dropped off a few items this month .
Form Hannant's ( first time ) I order through them . I picked up Aires P-51B cockpit , gun bays and wheel wells to replace the trumpeter items .
Ultracast , P-51D/B Exhaust , P-47 seats with belts , Mosquito seats with belts , P-51 seats with out harness , Zero sets with belts , F4U seats with out belts , P-51D wheel wells x2 , P-51B wheel wells , P51D place cards and Major George Preddy for Tamiya's P-51D .
Also pick up Academy's kit of the Spitefire Mk.XIVc , the nose though doesn't look right ...
I must say that Ultracast has some beautiful resin . The Vector mustang wheel wells are also impressive

Rowan,
Looking forward to your review. I built their F-15C,and it was the best jet I ever built. It was that good. So the F-15IIAF should be just that much better.

During the last club meeting this year on Saturday, this lovely MiG 21 UM flew into my bag.
I saw it first at an expo in Switzerland but far too expensive for my wallet. Good to have the LHS in our club ....
The kit is planned to be build in the first half of 2016. Well, I will see ....
Merry christmas everyone!
