I don't recognise the brand, but I do like the box. Russian kit box art has always appealed to me for some reason.

The brand is OKБ Tупoлeв* (yes, the same company which does the 1:1 versions). They did that one, a 1/200 Tu-154 and for some reason the 1/144 IL-96 which now sees the light of day under the Eastern Express label.

English: Tuppolev Design Bureau.

Yep bottom right of the second photo has it in English and as Jessica rightly pointed out they also make the 1/1 version so no excuses for getting any details wrong

Interesting, a sideline in the kit business as well as building the real thing!

I remember reading a while back that Roden have a link with Antonov?

After yesterday's club meeting I was flying home with a Beechcraft C-45. I think I put this on my production list for 2017. This year, the books are already full ....

Hi again

Wow! Some great hauls there!

Luciano - I expect to see our review pages filled with new 1:144 stuff!

Moving up a scale, or two, or three, or four... this beauty arrived today from New Zealand, courtesy of Wingnut Wings:

It's the perfect partner for the DH.9a that I've got underway. I'll get cracking on the review as soon as I can.

All the best

Easter holidays brought some food for the bookworm in me ....
Especially the Ki-61 book is full of fantastic and never seen before (for me) photos. And I hope that the Pe-2 book will help me a bit when I build my "Peshka" ....

Not in the post, but had a walk up to my local model shop and picked up Italeris 1/32 Nieuport 17. Not a bad kit and has a superb set of decals that has me spoiled for choice.
Going to be an oob build to practice some finishing techniques and rigging before I tackle the WNW Rumpler.
Will post pics and a build log soon.

Yep that one. It will do the job that I want and the Nieuport has always been a favourite of mine. Probably do it in Barraca's colours.

Steffen,
That's some haul you got today. Are you going to be putting the Pe-2 on the side for awhile?

I had a roll of Uschi rigging thread arrive today. Loos much finer than the other stuff I've been using so hopefully I will have better luck with rigging.

Hi Luciano

You can't build that! It's much too big! Seriously, though, nice one!

Postie delivered something rather exciting here today too, courtesy of GWH:

It looks a real beauty - I'll get the review done asap.

All the best

Rowan
