Hi there
Well, I know I shouldn't have, but I rewarded myself for reaching the bottom of the Stash in my pack-up to move home - so I couldn't resist looking in on Modelzone in Sutton one last time! I bought a no-brainer; Tamiya's 1:48 P-51D w/ Saff Car for a nice easy no-stress build once I get settled the other end.
All the best

Nice one Rowan!
I took some photos of a Dodge staff car a couple of weeks ago. 1943 vintage and completely original. Would they be appropriate for a walkround on Aeroscale seeing as there is such a strong tie in with the Mustang kit?
What the postman bought me today....................................
My girlfriends father served on Vampires sister ship Viceroy.
Ssssshhhhhhhh,,be vewy qwiet.............its a surpwise.....................

Hi Steffen
Funny that you should mention the Hunter - one of the gems I discovered while packing was Revell Germany's 1:32 FGA.9. It's a beautiful kit, but the box was so big, I'd tucked it away under a worktop (along with their 1:48 Ju 52!), out of sight and out of mind for years!

Hi Rowan
Yeah, the Revell Hunter is nice in 32 and 72 .. but sadly they do not have one in my scale. I have the Academy Hunter which I have heard needs some serious work and some corrections too ... I am not sure what the Aeroclub set will do but from a first look it does not seem that major improvement though I was advised to get it (I already have the Aires FGA Mk.9 "super" set)
all the best

During the final stages of Moduni summer sale, bought these:
And this from local supermarket, I know there is Eduards new G-2 available, but this is around 30€ cheaper not even counting the postal charges..

Hi Steffen
I've always heard that the Aeroclub set is well worth getting to correct the rear fuselage, the undercarriage and the cockpit and canopy, so I reckon you've done the right thing.

Thank you Rowan.
Well I had a closer look and the rear cone is sure different. also the hints are well worth it. But I have teh sqn canopy (which looks much clearer .. have to compare the shapes. I have teh aires cockpit as the wheel bay. so there is only some gear legs and the wheels (that look pretty bad in my copy) .. all in all not bad, but the tail cones for a few pounds would have been enough ....
cheers
Steffen

Okay , so I was at the mall looking for a new pair of shoe's and ended walking out with these items .
Hasegawa's Kit FW 1890A-8 # 51303 1/72 scale . ( sorry Steffen it's the wrong scale )
Tamyia flat white
Vallejoo Panzer Aces new wood and leather belt .
Squadron green putty and Tamiya putty , never tried it before .
3 Tamiya detailing brushes in 3 different sizes .
Osprey book Pusher Aces of World War 1
Rowan , you can never have enough mustangs in the collection and it's a great kit !
Should be a interesting build Steffen when you get to it .

Terri...........
Did you spend all afternoon walking round the mall looking at different Focke Wolfs, couldn't make your mind up,and then end up going back and buying the first one you looked at hours earlier?
I'll err,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'll get me coat.................

Sam did that once when she was face with the choice of 3 different 1/48 Hawker Hunters . But at least she doesn't do shoe or clothes shopping, so I have to get dragged around model shops, which is a bonus Terri...........

Well , I did walk around the mall for a bit having at look at things, which the pocket will not allow me to make any more purchase after the adventure into the hobby shop . So I really didn't make it to the shoe store ! I did find a nice fall jacket at a great price , just need shoe's to go with it now

Nice one nige... all you need now is a 1/700 and 1/12 to complete the collection
Terri if you can't find shoes but come back with a Focke-Wulf try it the other way round, go looking for Focke-Wulf's and you may come back with.... well another Focke-Wulf
OK Hannants have a few things on special so the post man brought me some goodies:
Now this one just looks so wierd I had to have it
And to keep the true scale stocked
