Hi All,
Today the postman brought two packages. The first one with some Windsock books. They are meant to enhance my limited WWI knowledge...
In the other parcel was a new Panasonic FZ38 camera. Not that my old one, a FZ5 was too bad to take pictures of model kits (the picture of the new camera was taken with the old one), but the FZ38 has new HD video features...
I will play a little with it and see if it is usable for Aeroscale. Video reviews maybe?
Jean-Luc

Hi Jean-Luc
Looking again, the worrying thing is that Gotha book! What have you ordered (from WingNuts) that you haven't told us about?...

Hi Rowan,
Don't worry Rowan. I haven't ordered anything yet, nore was I promised a test shot sample like the Tamiya Spitfire... sadly. But when the Wingnut Wings Gotha will arrive, I will definitely buy one. So this is only planning in advance...

Hi Jean-Luc
I can't imagine I'll ever get the kit - as fantastic as it looks. Even if I could afford it, I don't think I'd have room to build it! And storing or displaying the finished monster?...

Hi there
Well, my Christmas present to myself just arrived - a Model Expo spray booth:
You can read the Review HERE
I've wanted a spray booth for years, but the price has always put me off. Then I spotted that Model Hobbies are selling the Model Expo one (240v and a UK plug fitted) for only £62.10, so I didn't hesitate!
All the best

Presents you make yourself are often the best. You are seldom surprized but in most cases you get what you wanted
Nice buy Rowan!

Hi all
Thats a great idea Paul to put a 1/48 scale model in the spray booth to see the relative size. I am interested also in buying on of these booths for H&S reasons. So could you Rowan, please?

Hi there
Yep. Will do. I haven't set the booth up yet - I grabbed the pic from the review on Armorama before I went out. I'll post a pic with an aircraft kit in this evening.

Hi again
Considering that the Model Expo spray booth folds down into such a compact carrying case, it's surprisingly roomy when set up.
