Hi Paul
Yes, it's ideally sized for most of the stuff I build - anything larger wouldn't fit on my workbench anyway. But for anyone who has the space and the money, you can daisy-chain units together to make a really large spray booth (it says 2, but I reckon you could add more if you support the top flap with gaffer tape).
All the best

Hi again
I've just done a test. First off, I should say that a wire was obstructing the fan - so a loud humming sound, but no airflow.
It only took a few moments to get that safely out of the way and then all was well. I sprayed some neat cellulose thinners (printy stinky stuff!) and the booth removed probably 95% of the pong. The instructions do say to ensure adequate ventillation, and I could tell there was something being sprayed, but it was a phenomenal difference over working without the booth.
As with everything in life, you get what you pay for, but this does seem a good value investment for a healthier workspace.
Interestingly, the instructions state not to add a ventillation pipe. I'm just guessing, but it could be because the airflow will be reduced significantly if the pipe's not straight or is too long.
All the best

I just came back from the hobby store to get a present for a friend (a ship), didn't find any and came back with this one!
There were LOTS of new arrivals, the shelves were full! And there was also a SINGLE Tamiya Spit in 1/32, which was available for viewing... great kit, but high price, €120, which is almost the exact price of my new airbrush which I ordered and payed today and pick up at the shop tomorrow (this is the real Christmas present):
Iwata's HP-CR Revolution with 0.5mm nozzle
Maybe not suitable for the finest job, but I think will be enough to cover surfaces and make some basic preshading or simple camo schemes (that's just what I want). Perhaps in the future I will get a smaller needle and nozzle.

Hi Giacomo
Very nice! I don't think any of us would complain about finding an Iwata under the Christmas tree!

Hi all
here are my latest acquisitions:
SAC u/c legs for B-25J, A-10 and Canberra all 48 scale. Bought the J-10 yesterday for 28 Euro, which is a nice price (~22 at Lucky +p&p and customs might be more) and I got the thinner for free
and here are some samples I got at the clubmeet.(sorry for the blurry pic, I still have to set up kind of a photo equipment here at home it is -10°C outside so I am not pretty keen to shoot the pix on the balcony) I wanted the Ardvaark and I can live with the Corsair2 but I would have liked to pass on the Hellcat ... but as I always take the 48 scale leftovers ...
all the best

Hi again
Considering that the Model Expo spray booth folds down into such a compact carrying case, it's surprisingly roomy when set up.

Hi again
I don't normally "bump" my old Postman posts but, just in case anyone is considering this spray booth but is still unsure, I've had a chance to do a couple of extended painting sessions now and it really is excellent. I use almost exclusively laquer paints and it's removed almost all trace of smell from the atmoshere in quite a small room that has no venting to the exterior.
I have to say, it's actually exceeded my expectations by a considerable margin. My only regret is that I couldn't get a spray-booth at this price years ago! Costing just a few medium-price kits, I thoroughly recommend it.
All the best

Hi again
A mystery package! Well, it is Christmas!
Actually, I know what's in it, because I had to buy it on behalf of my Mum (due home from hospital and convalescence on Monday ) - it's the new "Hurricane Explored" from Flying Zone. I've got all their previous CD-ROMs and have found them excellent. This time, they must have broken every record in terms of mail-order service - the time between acknowledging my order and e-mailing to say that it was processed, packed and in the post to me was... wait for it... 19 minutes!

Hi again
A mystery package! Well, it is Christmas!
And now we all know Rowan's address
Arrived today.... I needed an emergency supply of Alclad Aluminium for my P-47 Campaign entry and the only place that had it in stock was Hannant's. Unfortunately they won't send paint's on their own so I bought the Hobby Boss 1/72 Hawker Typhoon for Camogirl. I have to say for once I'm impressed by Hannant's Delivery as I only placed the order on Saturday

Hi Allen
LOL! I should hope so - it's Aeroscale's contact address!
The postman brought a fantastic new book today - The Greatest Guide by J.M. Villalba, courtesy of Pere Pla at Acción Press:
It's got some quite amazing builds in it demonstration some quite brilliant techniques. Subjects cover everything from WW1 through WW2 to modern jets and Helos. There's masses to interest even the most advanced modeller. I'll review it soon - but first I'm off to start cribbing for current and upcoming builds!
All the best
