I have received this beauty lately.....an old kit but it looks very good on the sprues and is well detailed for it's age. It is very similar in quality to the Arii K5Y1 "Willow".
Hi Jean-Luc,
She is a pretty model. I hope you do a review of it. I built it 30 years ago but when it finally met its doom, I saved the cockpit. Great interior. IIRC, Seats aren't much, and the crew are toyish. IIRC, good surface texture--maybe a little rough. But the engine is nice. And the rigging is wire, right?
I started to build another a few years ago before my cross-country moves, but I'll have to did her out sometime. I really look forward to you building it.
The Arii (formerly Otaki) Willow is also a gem, IIRC.

Hi there
Fantastic hauls Steffen and Jean-Luc!
We definitely want to see that Gotha reviewed!
I received a much more modest package today - but no less welcome for that. Valom's reworked canopy for their An-2.
All the best
Rowan

Hi all,
Finally, try to figure out what this is...
Jean-Luc
That last part looks like the tail from an He-162, but I can't tell what the top circle on it is....

Hi Matthew,
Aahh, someone is intrigued!
No, it's not from a He 162. Its Luftwaffe though but much bigger...

Hmm, I'm thinking either the Me-264 as well, or maybe the Ju287?

Hi Jean-Luc
That's another Review you owe us, then!
I'll be really interested to see more details of the kit. Are the wings reinforced? If not, that's an awfully long span to do as unsupported resin - watch out in hot weather...
All the best

And ... how is the Stuka?
At first sight it looks pretty nice but I haven't checked it for overall dimensions. It has some good features like the engine and the wing control surface actuators which are separate this time unless in the Hasegawa kit. The rivets are present but not as much as on Italeri's recent kits. The propeller spinner looks too bulbous though. The kit however looks more serious overall, but you will be able to check it by yourself saturday...

Sure hope I do not forget
... BTW anything I should bring with me for having a look? (you can also shoot me a PM or Email) else I only bring built kits for the show (and a few to sell).
cheers

I solved Squadron Charlie's Conundrum for October and got this beauty for 1/2 price! Love that tiger scheme.
Also, this arrived a day ago from Two Mikes. Nice upgrade to the Two Bobs kit.

Very cool scheme for the Tornado, Eric.
I recieved these today. Now I can proceed with the P-51 campaign.
And because I'm collecting for my jump into WWI, these were in the package too. They are good value for the money:

Some of you may have seen my thread
What the postman didn't bring! How I was ripped off when I paid £97.75 for Tamiya's 1/32 Spitfire MKVIII to Models in Motion and 5 days later the receivers moved in! I had written off the money when Stuart of Creative Models, along with The Hobby Company, offered to supply the kit, free of charge
This arrived today:
Packaged with this:
What is also worth noting is the fact that my original post was on the 9th October, Stuart offered to replace my loss on the 14th October and today is the 16th of October. That's what I call service.
Thank you Stuart, I can't tell you how grateful and how impressed I am
My faith is restored.
I forgot to mention that, because Creative Models send out orders immediately, some on line retailers are using them to "wharehouse" their stock, I.E. They don't have to hold stock themselves and therefore don't incur those costs, so they can offer discounts. They get there order, as we see here, in no time, so their customers never know that they didn't have the item in stock when they placed the order. The point here is; you can have discounts or reliability. After my own personal experience I'll be going with reliability every time.

Mal, I'm very happy that issue worked out so well for you. I'll be bookmarking Creative Models.
I recieved these yesterday from RB Productions, lightning fast from time of order.
And just to let you know, I recieved this from HongKong a little while back. It was $114.00cdn shipped and also came lightning fast. A real bargain, I thought.
Indeed, there are some darn decent shops out there. Guy

Yes it's an amazing result
I have a set of those saws, in the centre, they are excellent and very sharp, cutting through resin almost like cutting butter. Radu's service is excellent too

Not the Postman but picked up at the Lincoln and Newark Model show today
The MH-60 will be converted to a HH-60J Jayhawk for the Aerial Screw Campaign next year.
I got fed up with how thin some of the Tamiya paints have been lately so I thought I'd try a selection of Gunze instead (and even picked up a couple of the Gunze buffing paints after Bob at MDC was demonstrating them).
Some Gunze Thinners and what I hope to be a useful tool, a Gunze Jar opener for when the paint dries the lid tight. It fits all three types of Gunze paint pots and even Tamiya
And finally some more Xtracrylics for some WWII USN kits I plan on building.
