Hi all!
There´s always will be another `Stang in my stash waiting to be built, so yes, I´m in!
Scale and model comes later, but probably either a Tamiya P-51B/D in 1/48, or a 1/32 Hase or Dragon D-model, or a 1/32 Trumpeter B.
I have decals for numerous machines in each scale so it will be hard what individual ac to build!
I assume it will be something with a lovley nose-art, tough!!
Oh, did I mention the P-51 is one of my all-time favourite aircrafts?
Cheers!

I'm still up for this anytime. My AccMin p51 is a pretty quick build from looking
at it. In some was I think 1/48 will be easier to build as long as I keep sensible.
First ribbon I prefer. Nice one Ben

My F-82 is still in the stash waiting for this one Terri. Later in the year is good for me, and I'm with JP, the first ribbon wins.

You can never have too many P-51's in the case! I'd be in for this one, too.

1st ribbon is soooo nice!
If this campaign gets started, I will build not one but three Mustangs (actually, three versions of the same individual)! An old project that I've been lurking at for a very long time. I plan to build the same aircraft - 44-63864 - first as the american original ("Twilight Tear"), which was later sold to Sweden (26158 "Gul Kalle"), which was later sold to Israel (IDFAF #3506) - marked as 38 during the Suez campaign.
And yes, I plan to build a diorama with three sections - one for each time period and marking (one from Duxford late spring 1945, one from Uppsala winter 1950-51, and one from the desert in Sinai in 1956). I already got myself three Tamiya 1/72 kits and custom markings for the "Twilight Tear". All I need is the proper time to build it! Four months is too short!!! At least for a slow builder like me. Please extend to the usual six months!
Cheers! // PolarBear

Hehe! Let's blame it on different time zones between Canada and Sweden!
I usually need eight months anyway, but that is a totally different story! I look forward to the campaign!
