Good day all
A few projects have cleared the work bench to make room for another project to start with the many still on the go .
The vac kit is Lone Star Models of the FE-8 pusher . Lot's of detailing to do and scratch building which will be fun
There are a few issues which I will address as the build goes . The fuselage is the starting point . The halves have been cut from the sheet and the cockpit opening removed along with the rear bulkhead . A replacement will be made for the engine to mount to .
here is what has been done so far ........

Hi Terri:
You are a brave soul working with a Vac u Form. You are commited now, as you have the fuselage cut out of the sheets. Best of luck on this project.

I don't think it's much of a brave thing , but rather ....what have I gotten myself into now
thanks guy's ........Mark H I really don't have that much on the go right now , this one makes project # 5 . So while I'm waiting for parts to try or even paint . I work on something else . The part which is amazing is keeping the work bench clean and in a orderly fashion

Good work Terri. The one thing that I haven't been able to do is to keep my work station neat and orderly. Ron

I think it is one of the points in "Dicta Stephen" in that no matter how much space you have, it all boils down to the 5 square inches right at the edge of your space. Looking forward to your progress on this project.

Excellent build, my Queen.
When I try to do things like the scratch building, I can usually come up with something that will pass, as long as it is hidden. Your scratch build should be displayed as works of art. I don't think of this as a challenge for you, but rather, a perfect palate for you to display your skill.

looking very nice Terri, mind you all those hairs...you must have a monster cat
the thinness of the vacuform really lends itself to detailing like this, it looks really promising so far
Go Terri go!

very much appreciated .
It's nice having that room from the thinness of the plastic to add the detailing , can add more in there ! I do have a few more vac kits in the stash so this won't be the last one I will be doing . Some very neat and cool subjects can be found in the vac kit ranges

Hi Terri: Not only does the wicker seat look neat, the whole framework looks neat! It has been years since I have done a vac, not ready to rush into one with all the cool kits that are out there in 1/32nd, but it is fun to see you and Gregory's work as it unfolds.
Best
Mark

Hi Terri
I only saw this thread of yours just now – awesome and brave build you've got going here
![](../../modules/SquawkBox/images/smilies/glasses.gif)
– No doubt you will make this one into a beauty as well!
Have never tried any vacuformed kits myself, the look of those thin sheets of formed plastic scares the heck out of me.
All the best, and good luck with the bulid!
Mikael
