Allen, you ask for critique, but I have none to offer. That's great work you're doing there.
Tom, yes, I've been outdoors a lot in recent days, and no progress to show at the workbench. I see you are making great strides, despite the call of nature!
Lap Man, sure one more Avenger is always good to me! That one looks like a nice, clean build-- all that detail is inspiring!
Damian, thanks again for running this campaign.

As promised, some picture updates. After finishing the bulk painting I glossed the Buccaneer twice with Vallejo Gloss Varnish and proceeded to decal the aircraft.
With the help of Vallejo Decal Set and Softener the Airfix decals went on really well. The only problem I had was with the cockpit so I left it un-decaled. You probably won't see much after the seats, pilots and canopy is added.
The white pod underneath the wing is a data acquisition pod which works in conjunction with the television guided Martel missiles.
At the moment I'm working on on the little aerials, the Martel and pylons, the cockpit and the canopy. Then I'm all done.

Hi All,
Some very interesting subjects have been built for this campaign, I've yet to finish my 32 scale Trumpeter Mk II Swordfish, or the 'glass house' for my 48 Avenger and repair of my Beaufighter, I may need a little extra time too complete the 3 subjects listed for this GB.

Hi everyone!
I am not enlisted in this campaign but I saw everybody's work here and I liked most of them. I mostly liked Mr. Allen's microdetailing (escpecially the 0.30 caliber MG) & the Soviet beast by Mr. Tom
Keep it up people
Cheers Nick

Well I've just made the finishing touches on the Vindicator. but its a bit too late and dark to take any decent photos, so I'll get some in the morning (if the weather hold off) and post them tomorrow

As promised the finished photos. The weather still hasn't been good today so I've done my best to get some shots indoors.

Hi guys. I have updated the Roll Call/Build Status post to reflect where we are all at, and the Campaign is going strong ! PLEASE don't forget to post some pictures in the Campaign Gallery once you're finished.
Great work Tomcat, your Vindicator finished beautifully !
Vertigo, that Buccaneer looks really good with the colour and markings applied, and the "in-flight" display shows off lines really well.
eMan, great progress on the Avenger, that's a really well finished and detailed interior.
Sean, you're very welcome sir, it's been a pleasure !
Tom, that MONSTER is looking AWESOME ! It will make one very impressive display.
Michael, great job on the Mitchell, very nicely finished ! Just PLEASE keep that moggy away from it, I can see disaster pending there !!
Ok guys, less than 2 weeks to the scheduled closing date, who is likely to need some more time (like Rob who can't help himself and puts up multiple builds ?!?). I'm happy to extend for another month if the higher powers agree and the workers need it !!
Cheers, D

Hi all,
Explain this [or is it just pure bad luck], both the Swordfish and the Beaufighter have been damaged, in the case of the Swordfish it is a real pain as the structure on the main wings has split, some kinked undercarriage legs and a trailing antenia that will require replacing [somehow], the control surface and wing brace rigging has also been damaged {I think I can salvage some of it, as other pieces have been stretched and may need replacing and to find a replacement DF Loop housing for the 'Beau'}.
The Mk II Swordfish:
The Beaufighter:
So it's back to the 'Vet' for these two birds.

I'm plowing along slowly, had a bit of work getting the pilot to fit into the cockpit. In the end I hand to remove his legs... and hands.

Daniel your on the expressway with the Heinkel, I'm impressed!
As for my progress I have the canopy painted/weathered and the bombs primed and ready for paint on my Kingfisher. Pictures soon. I think I will get this done by the deadline.
All the best,
Brian

Here is my entry, Hobbyboss 1/48 Avenger MkI.

In between working overtime, looking after the horse and the rest of the pets and decorating, I managed to finish my B-25 "Dirty Dora" this weekend, unfortunately I ran out of time to getting some photos, hopefully I will in the next couple of days

Daniel, great work so far, I would be cross-eyed and my fingers would be in knots after all of that masking !
eMan, great job on the Avenger, thanks for sharing your work.
Camo, no pics no proof, I will be witholding your ribbon until I see it !!
Tomcat, you be sure to parade your ribbon shamelessly at Camo.
Ok guys, only a couple of days to go until the dealine. Who is still building and what stage are you at? I'm not sure we need an official extension, but I'm happy to extend the ribbon awarding ceremony for those who need a little extra time.
Cheers, D
