Great looking helos, Matt. Both the Hip and Hind look very good.
Nice progress, Michael. Good looking camo - especially for this scale. Looking forward to see more

Hi all.
Progress on the Piasecki . . . . .
Painting white over glossy dark green styrene wasn't my cleverest idea, I gotta start using some primer on some of my builds, but it's looking ok so far.
Cheers, D

I am equally guilty of forgetting to prime. Regardless looking sharp!!! I flat finished the hip this morning, and hit the cabin windows with kristal klear. I had to take a 2 day break... to play battlefield... my other vice... And I got frustrated, because I painted the leading edges of the main rotor, and when I removed the mask, I snapped one of the blades off. I tried just ca-ing it back together, but could not get it, so I needed a day to think how to tackle it. I wound up drilling some small holes on both the blade and the rotorhead, and using a piece of stretched sprue as more or less a peg, and then gluing it into place. I will have pics up soon!!!

Like Matt said; you won't be disappointed. I will have certainly get in on the Pin up II campaign. I actually just started a project to get me warmed up. I am building the Revell 1/48 B-24D, and ordered the Strawberry B**** decals. Thanks for the kind words!

Could I join, rather late, with a Hughes 500 helo Eggplane??
I'd do my Anigrad McDonnell XHJD-1 Whirlaway, but don't have the time remaining in the Campaign.

There's still 6 1/2 weeks of building time left. Plenty of time to do an egg chopper, although you might want to try it in the "what if?" campaign instead...

Here, or...I'll wait. Lot's on the plate, so it's fine either way. King Tiger, Minenraumer, S'Cool Bus, IT-28, and an A6M2 on the bench.
Maybe I could suggest/promote an EggPlane campaign? Campaign Host's discretion.....

Glad it worked out for you Michael. It has many uses. I also use it to attach my canopies, fill gaps, add glass instruments to IP's, etc etc etc.As promised, the Hip is done! That Kristal Klear is epic, and I am a believer!
Nice looking Hip too. Where did you find the decals or are they the kits? I like!! Might have to do another in those markings. "Q"

Thanks Matt, ya those are the kit supplied decals and match the box art. I found it off from spruebrothers. It also comes with options for the Iraqi Army, and the Chinese Army as well. I can't thank you enough for the tip on that stuff, I am actually using it on the B-24 I am working on now, and did not use any of the kit stuff for the smaller windows. After all, I doubt I am the only one who despises masking windows.

After months of nothing, finally getting some movement on Airwolf.
AMT/ERTL Airwolf 1/48 by mawz_models, on Flickr
Next up is getting the gear sorted out, since the front gear needs to be installed before the fuselage goes together.

Nice and unusual build, Jessica. Well done!
Airwolf - those memories from childhood. Cool choice of kit, Adam. It will be interesting to see finished.
I am a little late to the party, but hopefully not to late. I am building the 1/72 ESCI Hind. A cool little kit that looks promising. A nice touch is the Sandinista markings included in the kit.
I have started and made a little progress on the interior.
More to follow.
