These will be my entry once I've completed another campaign I'm a bit behind on due to a modelling malfunction. I'll be building both for this campaign.

Love that cobra Shawn- really nice!
I have signed up and begun two helicopter builds- they are my first helicopter builds ever.
I am making the local Police and Air Ambulance helicopters- both Eurocopter EC 135s. I am using the Revell 1/72 kit from the Austrian Police boxing released last year. This has two additional sprues (compared to the original boxings of the kit) that are taken from the EC 145 kit- you get a whole sprue just for a tiny pair of loud hailers, and the other whole sprue just for the searchlight.
The decals are nice, and include black frames for the windows, and the frames of the sliding parts of the window too. This makes the embossed detail redundant, and in fact it will look much better without the moulded-on detail. So I broke out the sanding and polishing sticks, and removed the detail (polished on left in photo below).

The kit still contains all the air ambulance parts from earlier boxings, which I used in both the interior builds, as the Police helicopter is also used to evacuate casualties.
I am making my own transfers, which is quite ambitious as I will have to print on white paper to allow the yellow markings to show properly, which means printing a board around the them in the colour of the aircraft (red or very dark blue). Hopefully this won't look too obvious! The designs for the air ambulance decals are complete, and the hardest part of the Police markings (their crest) has been done.

Shawn that's one nice build you have there.
Now to my work
slight change of plan, one of the SH-60B's is now painted and awaiting decal's,

But I'm now going to build what's in the packet below as my main entry and use the SH-60 in case I don't get it finished. Anyone guess what it is?

It's resin and 1/144

OK two afternoons work and this is what you get!

Too coin a phrase 'can you guess what it is yet?'
Rotor heads and rotors next plus a bit of filler in a few places then undercoat

I've only managed to do a bit more interior work- still a way to go before I can close up the fuselage halves.

Well here is my in-progress photo #1.

Today I just got the basic construction done. I still have some clean up to do and I need to stretch some sprue to make the support wires and attach them.
Hopefully I will have another photo to share soon.
Thanks,
Randy

Randy,
Cool project, I remember seeing a photo of this a/c some time in the past. I do not remember the name (I could not see from the photo posted) I will keep watching your build with interest, I wonder what the pilot thought about being above those blades..
