The AW101 Merlin has three motors... I don't know if you're big on whirlybirds but there's another option. Dunno about pricing though.

Thankyou for reminding me about airliners, Jessie. I suppose there are a few 3 engine jobs. DC-10, L-1011, and I believe the 727.
Richard; the HO4S-3 also had 3 motors. I have the Italeri in stock, but saving it for the rescue campaign.
Thanks for lots of time, cause there's lots to choose from.

I see you there shorty53. You cannot escape fate.
The mason jar shall be heard this night.
Shorty, your lot is...
#17: "Missed Opportunities." In this one we're looking for an aircraft that almost made it. It must have had at least one properly operational prototype that did fly. But was never taken into production. The most glaring choices are the TSR2 or the Avro Arrow, the YF23 or Mirages G or IIIV are also sharp subjects. But there's loads of good choices. You could also try and talk Turner out of his black bullet!

here's my suggestion for future Lottery campaigns - "Blame it on the Twin Boom" (simply any aircraft with twin tail booms!)
Or alternatively any aircraft that can make Mach 2 ?
I'm loving this Campaign already and it's still months away. Most entertaining indeed everybody !

Since I now have the AFV Club F-5F, I release my option on the Black Bullet. I've got plans for it sometime later in very weird "what if" scheme. So Shorty she's all yours. By the way, when I got home and opened the F-5F kit and saw those Iranian markings, I almost started to cry. You know, in my quest for kits and markings, I found alot of Iraqi, Egyptian, and Jordonian decals in various kits, but Iranian? Oh heck no! But it did give a view about what's out there in Mid-East or Persian livery. For example: the MiG-21 comes in just about in every flavor except Iranian. Go figure. Anyway, let's all have fun and glue some plastic togather. All the best. JT

Not to mention the Tu-154, Yak 42, Ju-52, Ju-24, Ford 5AT, Stinson trimotor, Arc en Ciel, Wibault 283, Spartan Cruiser...

I've been on the hunt for a 'Tri Motor' kit, as I have none in the stash. Guess my choices are JU-52, Fokker F.VII, or the Savoia Marchetti. Any of which is available in a variety of scales. Perhaps even a 'Mistel' could be classed as tri motor.
The one true Tri Motor found that I like, costs $80.00.
Guess I'll have to go shovel more snow to come up with that.
There is that newer eduard 1/144 scale ju 52
This is a very interesting build Id definitely join if I wasnt so swamped at the bench. If I can get a build done or make good progress on a few, Im jumping in!

I saw two Ju52's in 1/72 in the 40 dollar range at the store today. And the bafflingly scaled 1/77 Ford TriMotor.
Can I get a judgement call from someone in authority? I wrote the rules a little too vaguely for myself. Does my Supersonic Soviet need to be in Soviet colours? Or just be a Soviet made crate. I've got this beauty and I'm tempted to go decal hunting for something African or Cuban.

How about a non-authority call. The rules have already been slightly bent. Its for the sake of the modeller, after all. We must help them to finish.
Remember, in Mexico, "License?! I don't need no dam license!"

You're the Campaign Leader so the authority is the person in your mirror
As far as I'm concerned, it's Soviet, it's Supersonic so who cares who'd driving it?
(By the way, that's not a MiG 19, just so you know)

I have two Ford Trimotors, about five different Italeri Italian trimotors and a Ju 52 in the stash if you need one..

Metodi, Any skis that are meant for snow. So the usual Helo skids are no good, gotta be snow skis.
Jess, it's not a Mig 19 you're right, it's a 21, it's two better.
Warren, perhaps you should trust your better judgement, because I feel the chill upon my back. A dead crow falls from the sky. It can only be the unearthly presence of the mason jar of doom.
Your lot is...
#28,"I am Canadian. Oh you got out easy here.
No wait, you didn't The stipulation here is going to be it must be a post 1945 aircraft WITH Maple Leaf Roundels. And fifty extra points if you do the Canuck. For it is called the Canuck and this is the Canada one.

I found one... at a reasonable price... People from the USA want far too much for postage thanks to USPS costs.
Does an entry have to be a plane?

Helos are encouraged. Land vehicles and boats are right out though I'm afraid.
Do you want me to pick you up something and post it? Just tell me a scale and a budget and I'll have something by the end of the day.

Hi Ray.
Thanks heaps for the offer. I would love to build a helicopter and if you can suggest a kit that comes with the markings from Canadia that would be awesome.
I was actually thinking of building a 1/12 Wolf WR.1 that I believe is the only Canadian backed F1 car I can recall.
Cheers
Warren

Well if you can hang on for a few weeks they had a lovely 1/72 Hobbycraft Labrador at a (not so local) LHS I go to every few weeks. Twenty bucks I believe.
They also had 1/72 Sabres, Tigers, Arrows (1/48 as well), 1/48 Sea Fury for twenty bucks...
I dunno if you want to do a Canadian Helo the yellow and red Labrador is pretty keen.
You could wire me the funds or we could do an old fashioned trade.

Certainly provides some head scratching,
Trimotors you all forgot the Trident (Airfix did one But I guess you'll only get it on Evil bay).
My Indian bird is heading towards an Adjeet or Folland Gnat or a Mi-8. I have a Canberra in the stash but it is a PR9 and the Indian ones are PR7, different cockpit.

That reminds me. Ben, I saw the Revell Ford Trimotor at the same shop for twenty bucks as well. That is a good price. I bet you could find it for the same, or I could grab it for you.
You know, I remember seeing decals for Lao Che air freight from temple of doom somewhere.
I mean come on. How can you not do that?!
Andrew you're going in a completely different direction with the Indian thing than I would have. Very interesting to see where you land!

Ya gotta look for something that floats your boat, and it helps if you can get hold of it, as the IAF wasn't formed until the late 1930s and I can only get a Wapiti if I pay a fortune for it. The Mi-8 is such an old fashioned looking beast but seems to get everywhere, the Gnat/Adjeet is a real unexpected success (Sabre killer) and both are a bit out of the ordinary
