Jesper: Very nice, indeed! Seems to be the right scale between the swallow and the cars. But, probably You should buy Your kids more Planes

Jesper: A great build an colouring. That's a very clean and unique 262 and it turns out extremely nice. Congrats for finishing so quickly. Maybe you give the panel lines a bit more strenght to break up the all over look?
And the cars have an awesome paint job, well done by your kids

O.K., managed to get those decals on (a lot of small ones not much visible). Took me 3 evenings with the help of Mr. Mark Setter and Softer. Now they lie down very smooth. The Swastika is a bit too small but the only one I had from another kit and I also could not find a "white outlined 4" -so what...
The fuselage band are airbrushed.
Now waiting for "Weatherman" to blend all down and give more life.

@Jesper--excellent build, and interesting diorama!
@Daniel--nice start. You'll be passing me soon too.
I took a chance and tried applying the cockpit decals. Lo and behold--they worked! I was pleasantly surprised with how well they lined up with the instrumentation, and how well they laid down inside all the bezels and over all the switches.

I had high hopes of painting the red and white on the dial edges, but in this small scale (read that: "with these aging eyes"!) that ain't gonna happen.

What a hornet's nest of activity in the final official days of the Campaign! As I stated earlier, please don't rush your builds to get finished by the official due date, there will be a few of us grinding away for several more weeks I'm sure.
Jan, welcome aboard with the baby of the bunch, great work so far.
Daniel, thanks for joining in at this late stage with your build, excellent interior detail work in such a short time!
Thomas, very nice job on the decals, I look forward to the weathering stages now. Thanks for the confirmation on the fuselage interior paint as well, if I get time I might paint it over with flat aluminium.
Jesper, congrats on getting finished mate, nice work on a striking scheme. Love the little 4-wheeled intruders as well !
Keep up the work rate everybody, I'm loving the regular updates coming in.
Roll Call/Build Status post is once again updated.
Cheers, D

Hi Michael,
I am not gonna make it in time. I put on some decals but there is some more to add and then all the small parts. Damian already allowed a fortnight more time which is probably what I need. Next weekend is our (IPMS D) show in Berlin Gatow so another weekend lost.
Here it is in the current state:

all the best

Since this is a fantastic campaign it would be great to have at least 2 weeks more extension to to see all of the guys (as well as me)finishing their builds. Thanks Michael for your agreement.
