Nice progress, as far as I can see here. It seems, not only me is affected by the photobucket problem . I will try another photo host, here are some pictures of my typhoon with a small dio.
Hopefully, this photo host works!

Bob: looks like "PostImage" works - I recently tried a post for "2nd Gen" some minutes ago. But cannot create sub folders Thomas
Thomas I'm new at postimage so I know nothing yet only that they give you the choice of image size. I did see folder options, but have not tried them yet.

OK, I call it done! Finished it some days ago and made a quick display.
It looks like a Fw190 to me despite all the issues I mentioned before (text remained; no more pics to see - thanks PB). I will do a short single thread with a summary of the build and re-uploaded pics.
Revell's 1/48 Fw190 (reboxed Dragon/Trimaster)is maybe not the best and sometimes tricky but after all I like it. Details and engraved panel lines are nice and still suitable.
The color guideline is wrong and must be noticed as well as a careful fitting especially around the cowling/fuselage/lower wing - connections. The landing gear needs special attention while fixing as there are no reference points for the correct angles. Otherwise it stands tip-toe.
So what came out is a Fw190 A-8(G-8) R8 what means it's in fact a modified A-8 with ETC's for a bomb and additional fuel tanks. Normally the outer wing guns and cowling MG's were removed because of the weight but all variants were possible. For a G-8 you need at least a correct and armoured bubble canopy. I decided to use only one fuel tank and left the cowling guns. Because I wanted a different camo sheme the unit's number was changed. Wing guns and pitot tube were replaced with hypodermic needles and brake lines/seatbelts/aerial/struts inside canopy were added. Colours: mainly acrylics Humbrol, few enamels for details, water based washes, pigments, final coats Vallejo matte and semigloss, oleos metal foil.
