I would like to join this one!
My build will be a Fw 190 D-9, too early to say what markings that I will use but probably something from one of the Eagle Editions decal sheets.

Submitted:
Butcher Bird
It was one of those mornings where the fog and cold hung in the air. It was so thick, you couldn’t see five meters in front of you. But the meteorologist promised it would soon burn off and become an ideal day for flying. That meant they would be coming later, to drop their bombs on my homeland. My groundcrew has been working all night to get my Butcher Bird flying again. They pulled the necessary parts off Peter’s plane yesterday. He wont be needing them anymore. Now I can hear the sound of my BMW 801 engine cranking, catching, roaring. Yes it is going to be an ideal day for flying….
START DATE: January 1st, 2009
ENDS: December 31st, 2009
Rules
FW 190’s only. Any version, any markings, any scale.
If in a diorama, the 190 must be the focal theme.
Have a great time, and push the envelope.
Jesper will be the Combat Air Adjutant
A Butcher Bird Ribbon will be awarded

Me too. I actually ordered another Eduard A-5, so I could keep one of each in my stash. I know, I am a sick child.

Excellent submission, Carl. It sounds really good. I will come up with some banners as we get nearer to the start of the campaign anbd people can sign up.

Ok, Ok, I´ll join you all on this Campaign too!
Altough the Fw-190 ain´t my top favourite aircraft, I do have a couple of kits (Tamiya, Eduard).
Seems to be a good reason to build one now, tough!
Cheers!

I suggest we follow the same dates as the Thunderbolt campaign. It could be really cool to have the campaigns running simultaneously.
Sorry guys,,only just caught up with this.
I think it will be a great idea to run the two campaigns at the same time

I'm in for both, provided that 1/144 would be accepted. I have some mighty fine kits from Platz (well, I only have the FW 190 right now, but I sure am going to get the P-47 as well) that I would love to build!
Cheers! // PolarBear

I have seen your 1/144 builds. Nobody would know they were that small from the excellent finish you obtain. 1/144 will be allowed, as usual.

Hi all!
Count me in too. I'll build the V1 prototype with Legato's 1/48 scale resin kit. See review here.

Hi all
If Jean-Luc's going to build the V-1 prototype, I'd better chip in with Antares Models' V-19 Special - see the Review HERE.
All the best

Hi Rowan!
Mmmmhhh... I don't know!? Is this really a Fw 190? Looks rather like a Messerschmitt!

It appears that we have all the usual suspects showing up for this one. We should be a go on this soon. Time to order everything you need.

Well if Jean-Luc is building the V-1 and Merlin the V-19, I'll build the V-18
And in my normal scale of 1/144 the Fw-190D-13/R11
Ciao

Nice one Luciano!
I must admit I was very tempted to enter Planet Model's 1/48 scale "Känguruh".
