I like stripes as well. I just have to find out on what. My idea of a bubbletop Bf 109 M from Korea seems to pop up again.... Luft 51 in Royal Navy colours, Bundesmarine markings and stripes. Yummy!

I'll stay on alert for this!

I guess nobody's seen such a bird Terri. But if the war had gone elseway maybe we could have. Imagine a carrier based 109 with a FW 190-lookalike canopy, maybe a contra-rotating sixblade prop and underwing ordnance like half a Skyraider. Cool or what?

Terri, I just read the campaign rules once again.

From the campaign rules:
"For the twist on this one . Who every enters can pick a rule of there own which others will have to follow ( please keep with in reason ) before you can post your rule please send it in a private PM so if any changes have to be made."

The whole rule thing is very innovative and interesting. It also involves campaign participants to a higher degree than in other campaigns.
However, I for one have no idea what rule to impose on others entries. Furthermore there will be more than 10 "extra" rules in the campaign. It seems it will be very difficult to administer. Anyway, just my 10 cents.

Regarding how to define "stripes" on fuselage/wings. Will the below cases qualify?
- Stripes on the cowling? Fx. Fw 190.
- Stripes that are not necessarily parallel? Fx. the German Sabre.
- MULTI coloured reichsdefence bands? Fx. JG 301

Hi Jesper , I guessing that some of the guys will want to have invasion stripes so turning down defence bands will not be fair would it ! Your choices are fine with me . I do like the saber though , very colourful .
As for picking your own rule It can be something simple like only white and black stripes etc, etc .......but before the guy's can post it they will have to send to me in a PM . If you don't want to add your own rule that is fine , you don't have to . Yes it will be most challenging to get this all together . I like to try and do things that no one has done before and add some fun and mystery to it .
If you have any more questions , just ask .

I think I haven't quite understood this rule thing.

Is it supposed to work so that the self-imposed rules set by participants all add up and you have to follow them all, if you choose so? Or that you follow only your own rule you thought up?

How this will work with the rule thing . Is every one can pick a rule which everyone will have to follow , for example ......you can only use aftermarket decals ........what ever you want but, with in reason . If you choose not to have one that's alright , but will have to follow the rules on which others have pick . Another example is some one might have a rule as .......model has to be on a diorama .
If you have any ideas on this and what will aid in this working which is fair for every one please share , if so I can drop the rule thing and come up with some else . Just trying some new here and if it works great , if not no worries at all .

Thanks, that cleared it up. Rules imposed by participants make up a set of rules for everyone to follow.

I don't know... To be honest, I feel such a set of rules might easily get quite restrictive, especially if people already have a chosen their entries-to-be and signed up with that kit (+decals, AM parts, whatever) in mind.
Could people have the choice of following the set of rules or not?
