Hi Terri,
The stripes should only be green not green and yellow for all, there should not be green cowlings but the front of the cowlings should be yellow except no.1 which was from another aircraft in olive drab.
Now I can do this but with my still limited time for modelling (untill end of October) I will not be able to get this done soon.
I'll do what I can.

Looking good Mark ! I see you are doing the D.III . How do you find the shape of the cowl ?
Keith , glad you found your mojo and back at the bench once more . Looking forward to it !

Well, I'll keep my fingers, legs and eyes crossed for it, Terri. I could be interested, as I need an excuse to to get one of my black and yellow diagonal-striped target-tugs built. How about a Vultee Vengeance or Fairey Battle? Or even a Fairey Firefly?
What a shame my TT Defiant is already built...
...but I'm sure glad it is...it was quite a job! Any of the three suggested above will be SO much easier!

Hi Tim , Thanks for showing an interest in the campaign . You are more then welcome to sign up . the closing time for this has been extended , still a few of us with our builds . The closing date is Oct 15 . This is the only extension . I was very flexible on the stripes which seemed to confuse every one and we have a few builds that are bands and not stripes . But that is okay I chalked it up as stripes any way . ( why I can do this ? Because I'm cute !!! )
The aircraft you have chosen sound great . Andrew did a slimular one done up with yellow and black bands ( stripes ) and it looks really cool ! Just remeber to sign up for it if you haven't already . I look forward to your build !

Bl**dy hell, aren't I an idiot? I clicked onto this and got the FIRST page! Now I see that the project is well under way. October 15th? Not a chance...damn!
Why can't the home page direct you to the LAST page of a topic? Sorry TerrI!

well guys and girls.
Almost done, control horns and cables to do, a few details to add and then blast some laquer over and do the weathering proper. Hopefully by next weekend its mission complete on this one though I do think a good base is needed for her.

Super job Keith , now just get her done and ever thing will be okay to start the rigging on the SE5a ( sorry just had to toss that one in . )
Neat Mark , the PE set really adds to the kit which is soft in details . I'm waiting to see how you tackle the rigging !

Hi Terri
just a question .. do you extend the campaign deadline or not (the campaign page shows 15th September. As much as I like to, but I will not make it until tomorrow .. it is just too many bits'n'pieces left to do ...
This is where I am, focussing on getting the guns done:

Btw, I noticed the campaign is gone from the campaigns page. Twin seaters was extended but not this one.

Eetu , It's gone because the campaign is over . I did extend the time for this . until the 15 of oct . This should be more then enough time for everyone to finish .
The twin seater campaign doesn't start until Jan 1 / 10 and there will be no extention on that one .

Terri,
I was really trying to finish by tonight, but it's not going to happen. I'll have an update very soon.

To get you need to click add/update banner. load that image as a 50x20 gif up. Rename it on your computer
to the name it suggests. It took me several goes and PMing Chuck and others to get it to work though.
Good luck.

You mean the ww1 twin seater campaign?
Sorry for the confusion, I meant the currently ongoing one, running until the end of this month. This stripes campaign is gone despite being extended till October the 15th.

Hi all
Yesterday i finished Eduards Weekend Edition of their Fokker E.V. with stripes .. and for Stphen: with bands
... so I am only 2 days late .. Terri please let it count, even if it has band instead of stripes
it is mainly OOB though I used a few parts from the old Flashback kit as well as the stripes decals, which needed a lot of work and touch up, but I still like that better than masking .... here is da build thread so just 2 pix for fun:
Hope you like it.
all the best
Steffen

I'm feeling the extenion is a little long for the time here . Since there is only a few left who are finishing up or trying their best to . I see no reason as to having this run until the middle of next month . Closing date is at the end of the month after that your entery will not be valid .
Come on Keith i know you can do it !
