I don't know... To be honest, I feel such a set of rules might easily get quite restrictive, especially if people already have a chosen their entries-to-be and signed up with that kit (+decals, AM parts, whatever) in mind.
Yes, I have the same feeling. I am planning on the FW 190 with Black and white stripes on the cowling, but a rule of fx. using AM decals would leave me without a build for the campaign.
It could be a good challenge to follow all the rules, but I think it should be voluntarily to follow the "extra" rules.

How about a banner awarded for completion, with oak leaves or crossed swords or something for following a number or all of the extra rules?
It is a bit of a cop out perhaps. Rules should that restrict participation might not be good but I guess that is up to Terri to decide which rules to incorporate into the final list.
As for me my rule is a bit more fun than that I know we are supposed to PM the rules to Terri, but this is mine
participants must post a picture of ones self wearing stripes, with the model.

Okay I can see that this rule ting will be a hassle , wrong timing for it . I do like your rule Jaypee , but I not wearing that type of clothing on a family network
So for now the only rules that are posted when signed up will be those ones to follow .
PICK YOUR RULE HAS BEEN CANCELLED . I understand what you guys mean and I just want it to be fair so every one can have fun which in the end is the main goal !
I will come up with a different twist for this and when I do i will let all of you know .
Thanks for the imput on this Guys !

I've no idea what type of clothing you had in mind Terri! But now I'm intrigued.

Hi Terri,
I may be a starter,I'm thinking I might be able to kill 2 birds with one stone.
I've picked up the Academy 1/48th P47since its' got a striped tail and tailplanes it would be acceptable here and also lampies P47 GB.
I'll need to think some more on it as with work, kids and illness I'm getting really tired and don't need anymore stress (to be fair modelling is a good kind of stress) can you give a more bit of an idea of when it'll look to start?
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris , you still have lots of time . It doesn't begin until next year in April .
Any aircraft from WW1 to modern and any scale . as long as it has stripes !
We don't have a P-47 yet so that would be a great edition to this .
Life has a funny way of doing things to us , so it is nice to have that Good stress every once and a while .

Hi Chris
Welcome to the campaign.
Normally it is not allowed to enter the same model in more than one campaign, so I guess you will have to decide which one you partipate in or build two models.
I have to warn you about the decals in the Academy kits. Unless it is the new Cartograph decals they are awfull and can cause a lot of problems. I normally just throw out mine and use replacements.

Thanks Jesper .
Chris , I miss read your post . Jesper is right . You can't enter the same kit that you are doing in a campaign and enter it in another . You are still more then welcome to enter , but it would have to be a different subject .
Okay I have my pick guy's I will be doing Eduards kit Of the Pfalz D.IIIa # 8045 Markings will be , Hans Bethge , co of Jasta 30 , March 1918 . Very colourful and awesome stripes !

Me as well. An aircraft converted to a target drone maybe? Or some training or rescue aircraft.
I think I will stick to my FW 190 with the white and black cowling stripes, but I might cha nge my mind a hundred times before the campaign starts

Jesper, not even close. I thought the hint would make my choice a little more obvious.
One orange stripe down each side of the fuselage, one orange stripe down the spine, and three orange stripes on each side of the top and bottom of the tail, with red, blue and some more orange thrown in. And just to make sure I have enough stripes, I think I will add around 90 blue wing stripes.
And it was flown by an ace with 11 victories.

Sounds very interesting and extremely colourful, Carl. I am at a total loss at what kind of aircraft it could be or who flew it. I will be surprised when I see it.

I would like to enlist in this campaign. I currently have three aircraft that would fit the rules and regulations:
Not sure about the last one, as it's got the stripes showing through the camo scheme. First and third kits are Hasegawa, 1/72 scale, second is Revell's 1/72 ECR kit.
