I love stripes, and I find the notion of a "striped" campaign excellent. But why limit it to WWI aircraft?
Ps. I also like dots.

Thank you thank you thank you terri. I need an excuse to build the little rdoen d.vii and get a campaign sticker for it. so its got to be that. As for time to build it'll have to be next year I think. I like the idea, should be a laugh to see all sorts of stripey.

Hi Terri,
I wasn't thinking of any particular aircraft, but I like the D-day as well as the Suez stripes.
I just might opt for a P-51B Swiss Mustang. Given the minimal space I have at the moment - in 1/144 (Sweet has the sweetest one).
Striped enough, or will you demand aircraft that are striped all over? How about tiger stripes?
Cheers! // PolarBear

JP you are welcome and Polarbear it can be any stripes ! Tiger stripes !!!!! now that would be really cool to see a aircraft with those . It will be next year around spring time or later . plate is getting a little on the full side , Jp can you wait for that long !
I'm also trying to think of a new twist for this as well like i did for the ladies campaign . Might have to get Kelly to help with this . Once I get the details work out it can get submitted for approval .

I've got my plate well full with campaigns too.
f-117a paint it black
tiger1 eastern front
MC72 need for speed
spit mk1 battle for europe.
bf109 aces high
prob a (stripey fw 190) for the proposed 190 campaign
But since I got this little fokker last week I've been itching to get tore into it. But patience is a virtue, next year will be fine by me.

I am currently overwhelmed by campaigns. But I might be able to get one done. Depends on whether or not I get the 1/32nd Roden Albatros OAW in time.
Invasion stripes are good.

i'd support this campaign with a build, but don't wait till fall of next year. If you started in late spring or early summer, i think it'd be fine.

Terri I'll go for this but as most have said already I'm full with campaigns at the moment so the second half of next year would be better for me.
Tiger strip Tornado I'm thinking but will have to check the stash and see what else I may have thats stripy.
Ciao

Good Idea, Terri. I am in for this one - especially if Tiger stripes and the like count.
Thanks for the initiative

I the timing is right I would go for this one, I have been looking for an excuse to build a B-24 bomber leader in yellow with multi-coloured spots If I had to go for stripes a Roden Felixstowe flying boat is a must in gorgeous red and white stripes. Cool!

Very cool idea!
I'm not sure what plane I would do for it, but since it will start next year, I have some time to "peruse the stash", as it were. Count me in.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Terri had a look through the stash and a Tiger Strip Puma HC.1 will be the build with a tiger Tornado as back up in 1/144 of course.
Can't wait for this build, totally different for me.

Would like to thank Stephen for putting the idea there in the first place . Thanks Stephen
So far their is :
Bjorn ( Polarbear)
JP (Jaypee)
Captain A ( Carl , if he has the time )
Vance ( Vanize )
Luciano ( Littorio
Jesper ( SGT JkJ )
Andrew ( Amegan)

We have enough for a campaign here ! I'll start working on the details and have them .
So it can be any scale .
From WW1 to Modern aircraft .
The airframe or wings have to have stripes !
Kits can be OOB or srcatchbuilt .
PE parts and Resin can be used .
Starting date for this will be in the spring time . Okay for the twist on this one . Who every has signed up can pick one of their own rules , which others will follow ( with in reason please )

cool, get it submitted!
need a second in command?
I'd be happy to help in that capacity, and of course Jesper is always willing to play that roll as well it seems.

Second in command is the person who answers questions and such when you go out of town or whatever - basically a fallback person.
and I'll take the job!
