Hi Terri -

If it's not too late to join up, I've got one in my stash I'd like to victimize in front of everybody. Any idea when it will start?

All signed up. I'm working on order ing paint now.

I forgot to properly attribute the picture I posted. It's from Profile Publication # 146 "The Savoia Marchetti S.M. 81". picture by James Goulding. The Profile was written by Giorgio Apostolo.

I've been reading the thread about the guy who takes other peoples work without attribution and I consider that the work of a parasitic sloth.

Decisions, decisions........
I guess I'm jumping in on yet another campaign, that is if you guys/girls will let me play?
Probably something like one of these. Just to sick (sick meaning awsome) to pass up!

OH! Almost forgot....
If we doooo get to pick a rule, my rule is that no matter how crappy my build turns out, you all must vote for it for the model of the month competition when the campaign is over.

However , I do like your rule and you have my vote on that .

Carl ( Captain A ) has made the offer on designing the banner for this one . Thanks Carl !

Just got my decals in from Sprue Brothers today. I'm going with an F-16 with the "20 years of service" tiger stripes scheme from the Belgian Air Force. 3 full pages of yellow stripes. Shouldn't take me more than 5 or 6 years to complete this one. But she'll be plum sexy!

WOW! That is two great looking aircraft, Hermon. That is definitely stripes in the sky.

I have decided on a FW 190 for this campaign. It is with a two colour fuselage band and a blue and white striped spinner. It definitely has stripes, but cannot really compared to those fantastic colour schemes, Hermon!

Terri. What would you say about an Avia Mule?

It's not the stripestest tiger around, but it does have stripes. Also, it's in the stash and has to be built, since it's a 109, sort of.

Then the 199 is a go!

And I will have to worry about the colour. Was it grey, was it green, was it sky. Even the put-foot-here-arrows seem to be disputable. Were they red or black, full or dashed?

I found this! Apparently a USAAC Se5a. And I've got the old revell Se5a 1/72
in the cupboard. An excuse for some masking practice.

I still haven't decided what to build for this campaign. I must admit that I this beauty inspires:

On the other hand I've been thinking of proposing a campaign specially dedicated to all the classic target tugs...(I just have to finish the photo recce campaign first)

I'll point you to a thread I started on aerodrome. My guess is red and white.
Was a nice exercise on how colours are determined I learned a something there.

I thought you might like this one.

Thinking of getting the roden se5a if the revell kit proves to be too much of a dog.

Björn, those tugs are so cool. There's a Mossie with those stripes on the belly, hanging from a ceiling at Duxford. I don't have my harddrive here, so I can't find my pic of her, but I can put one up tomorrow.

That Mossie don't fit my schedule, but a yellow target towing Firefly would. Interesting idea..... Hmmm...
