I just cleared my bench so this one is right on time. I'll be picking up a commission build tomorrow from a gentleman who wants a P-40 done in Flying Tigers livery. His mother knew a pilot that flew with them, and he acquired the decals for the pilots plane and a kit to put them on. As far as the kit goes, I'm not sure whether it is a Hasegawa or Trumpeter kit in 1/32. I'll know tomorrow though. Details to follow shortly. "Q"

(2) days to go on this side of the earth sooner on the downunder. Is everyone ready to show what a P40 can do?

@ D: cannot wait to see your (4) builds especially those that have that special OD color. I will need to follow the example of a few of you with an ecxel spread sheet to list the entrant, a/c, wip, gallery, finish for all to follow where they are at.
@ Warren: I think your start time is here in what (9) hoursif I am correct. And cannot wait to see the special build that you have chosen. Hey I also wonder what the difference in the Aussies will be
@ Chris: just press that little enlist button so that I can follow your RNZAF build. Sounds like a great camo scheme.

Here's what I'm planning:
Hasegawa's P-40E
Had some goodies for it.
Only decals in the kit are for a couple of Russian birds. Even if it has the instructions for a British and American plane.
So I got these instead
Thinking about the middle one Sand & Middlelestone over neutral gray. Would prefer a full up RAF desert scheme (Dark Earth/Middlestone over Azure Blue) , but this is what I've got that's not OD over neutral gray.

Mark, I like the scheme on the bottom and I will race you to the finish line. I still do not know which one to build. Will have to pull them all down and decide. And what is wrong with OD over NG, they are GODS colors.

Bob, I've got at least four P-40's in the stash. Doing them all in OD/NG gets boring next to the same color P-47 & P-51's.
