@ Vance: could you pm me to send the ribbon that most of us chose, you did a great job.
It is in my Kitmaker gallery - you can copy it from there easily enough. Glad you like it.
I finally got around to signing up - and my enlistment makes 10! We should be official soon.

Vance this is what the campaign image page is asking me to name the image.
UPLOAD AWARD IMAGE - Image Name: 385.gif (you must name it this on your local PC)
Your image is a jpg file and will not up load, could you change it? I have not been able to.

Boy, we sure do look official now. I just saw the ribbon and 10 enlistees on the campaign page. Emeritus has clued me in to another set of resin and plastic kits I was unaware of, so I'll have to update the kit list soon.

Hi Mark,
Hopefully the campaign will grow and with growth there will be sharing of ideas and information on this bird from different entrants nations. Does anyone have an idea for the banner, I would love to fly it from my postings.

I just enlisted. Will do either the old Revell P40B Tiger Shark or Monogram's P-40E Warhawk, both 1:48. Will have to dig into the stash at some point to look at specific craft and markings

Hello James, nice to have you aboard. Notice that this campaign is a year off since there are so many others at the moment. Herman (Voncuda) is the Co-leader and Damian Lewis from down under is covering the southern hemisphere.

Hey Mark, I noticed that the B and N model have the most decal choices. I have never built an N, so maybe that will have to be considered for one of my builds.

Bob, you got the Damian "with an A" correct, but where did that surname come from?? Too much time staring into those accounting textbooks my friend.

Bob, I took a quick look at Great Models and they claim to have 164 P-40 accessories (some are for P-39/P-400). Whew... looks like I may be able to cut and paste it all into Excel and get a usable list.
Now I just need a good depository. How did you get the P-40 book pages into Photobucket?

Hello Mark:
I first scanned the pages as photos then transferred them to photobucket. I hope that I made the process easy to understand. The Great Models referance will help me out.

Hey folks, I'm working on a list of P-40 Detail sets for the resource thread. I need a couple of volunteers to take a look at at and see if the links work. Bob, I sent you one @ Yahoo. Anyone else, Damien? Thorsten?

Send me a copy D. You can appraise the pic's and I'll go over the text since I know how to read.
I'd be interested to see what you've come up with in 1/24 scale for my VFS P-40.

Hermon, PM me with your email and I'll send you a copy. It's at the hus so It'll be later tonight b4 I get it sent. IIRC, Eduard has 2 items. Cockpit placards and self adhesive instrument bezels.
OTOH if you were building a 1/48 Hase version you could spend about U$100 just at Eduard for bits.
