Perhaps we need to add mad welding skillz to Torsten's bag of tricks. I've never seen anything like that at a laundrette (dry cleaner?)

Torsten, I think that I remember those hanger implements at the local washterias from the 1960's. It has been a long time since I have been to one.

@Mark
Yes, I mean dry cleaners and not laundrette. Sorry, my mistake ....

@Nick
I like my P-40 family also! For this campaign I will build a dutch P-40 N (Hasegawa) and a Tomahawk Mk. I (P-40 B/Trumpeter) both in 1:48 again. What will you build?

T. Don't sweat the English, I still have trouble with it after 50 plus years. And after 2 years of high school German, I can almost count to zehn.

Craig, you have a really nice momento there, just keep it locked up when I come to town or it may disapear. I would love to have been there when you had the a/c signed and partook in the conversation. For me that is a special piece of history, thanks for sharing and welcome to the campaign. Be sure to enlist.

Fantastic work, Torsten. I will do one of the P-40s illustrated with a skull on the cowling as well.

Cool to have a signed P-40, Craig. Something out of the ordinary for sure.

Looking forward to get started

Nice aircrafts you have there, Craig! And a signed a/c by the pilot(s) is something really rare these days. Looks to me like quarterscale models, right? So the Ki-27 is from Hasegawa and the Warhawk is probably from Academy, as they offer a Flying Tigers P-40 C.

Happy modelling

Nick, a banner has not been created yet. If you would like to create several for us to pick one, that would be great.

Hi All,

Here is a 48 scale Hasegawa P-40n 'KittyHawk ' that I did a couple of years back, originally I intended to do this one as an RAAF bird, but sadly the markings where not available at the time and a friend gave me the decal sheet from the Eduard 'Profi Pak' to which I used the 'Laughing Skull'

Hope these pix are help full.

@ Rob: Nice job on the "Laughing Skull" but can you tell if it really laughing or just getting ready to devour something.

@ Mark: It looks finished to me, great job on a braille scale.

Thought I was done till I took the pics, water stains everywhere. Gotta deal with that, a kink in the antenna and the CA debris around the antenna leads on the wing......
