Vance that office looks great mate, beautifully detailed. Looking forward to seeing some colour on the outside now.
Torchy, AWESOME my friend, one to be proud of for sure ! I can't wait to see the dedicated thread for this build, it will be a superb tutorial on the big Mossie.
Congrats on getting it finished, and thank you so much for sharing your work with all of us here. BTW, now that it's done, maybe you will have time to crank up the mower and deal with that jungle !
Well that makes 22 completed builds in the hangar and a few stragglers still on approach. I will stand watch in the tower until we are all home. This really has been a great Campaign to run guys, thanks again.
Cheers, D

Hi guys,
I never even got close to finishing my entry in time but I thought as she is finished now I will post a pic of my completed 1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter. More pics are available in the Pre-Flight check section of the forum.

Hi Mark. Three things are relevant here:
1. That's a GREAT Beau build !
2. You're an Aussie
3. I'm a good bloke.
Therefore, you're ribbon has been awarded.
As I always say, I'd rather see builds completed up to a standard of personal satisfaction rather than rushed through to meet a deadline, so that's the way I will continue to run my Campaigns.
Awesome work mate, well done and congrats on getting her finished.
Cheers, D

Excellent work Mark! I finally managed to finish my monster too. It seems I am the last one to finish this campaign. Here are a few pictures: (I apologize for my poor photographing skill, I did't realize light should go from the camera's side.)

Now that's a beautiful build Jiang, excellent work ! Can you please explain how you did the weathering on the wings, the "streaking" effect looks really nice.
Great job on the best looking aircraft ever built my friend, and thanks for joining my Campaign and sharing your work with us.
BTW your ribbon has been awarded now.
Cheers, D

Thanks very much Damian, this is my first ribbon. For the streaks, I first brush the entire wing with very thin oil paint (black+brown+white, zippo oil as thinner), then rub the wings with zippo-oil-saturated paper towel in the stream line's direction.
