Richard do your worst

As the eager crowd gathers around the table to witness the gruesome spectacle of the Mason Jar o' Doom vs Littorio, wagers are laid left and right, voices are lowered and the mood drops. A chill draft creeps into the flesh of all in the room, what cruel fate awaits or dear friend ?

Well Damian put like that I should of

Lets hope that the theme fits to my very small accessible 1/144 or 1/72 stash as the 1/48 aircraft in the stash won't fit on my travel workbench. Mind you I'm at a show next weekend that normally has at least two traders with 2nd hand kits so should be able to pick something up there.

Thanks Ray, I think I have a little 1/144 Chilean navy Kingfisher in the stash (not many parts from memory) but may just pick up one in 1/72 as well.

Or, thirdly, how much do you want for your decals Miss Jessie?

I've consigned a little package to the tender mercies of Canada Post. Look for it to arrive sometime before the campaign kicks off...

Are there no more modellers with the mettle? No more tinkerers with the tenacity? No more firebrand fiddlers? No more hobbyists with hutzpah? No more foolhardy finescalers?

Are we nine and twenty all that there is?

Are we few, we happy few, we band of brothers the only ones who would chance fate?

Are we the only ones to look deep into the eye of destiny and dare to blink?

Has the Jar of Doom taken its measure of kitmaker dot net and found it wanting?!?

Only you, fair reader, can help defeat the foul jar and its cruel lottery. Enlist now!

Sorry Damo but that quote pre-dates that band by centuries.

And I know what you were alluding to Jessica.

The mystical forces grow stronger, "Brothers and Sisters" is the name of the album that Jessica was written for, I can hear the faint sounds of acoustic guitar emanating from the mists around the Jar of Doom.

Ray, what have you started?

That is a co-incidence. I have all the episodes on my computer and am watching Season 17 at the moment. Just saw the great train chase episode. Hammond is an idiot..

Never in the field of model campaigns has so much been written in such a short time by so few. This thread has really stirred up the more adventurous, great idea. As we still have about 5 months before B day I am not in a hurry to buy but the plan is a Special Hobbies Hawker Tempest II, unless something else comes up

Besides I can not in good conscience let my fellow model makers take to the field of battle without saying I'm right behind you ........... wayyyyyyyy behind you.

A hundred years of winter descends. All tastes of chicken, and the recently dead roam the streets at night.

The Jar of Doom cometh.

Chris, your lot is...

The meaning of life, the universe and everything! #42!!! "Danger Bay!" Jess is literally joyous. You'll be Tragically Hip, just don't RUSH it, if you build a great one you might get some Barenaked Ladies, kick it into (Bachmann Turner) overdrive, cause you're building a Canadian bush plane!
