HP, I also am a very slow builder taking a year on some projects. But it keeps me out of trouble

The ME P-1111 is finally together and I have started filling and sanding the two seams. Cockpit was painted with Humbrol slate grey enamel (#31). I handpainted the control panel gauges so something will show through the surprisingly clear canopy (for a PM kit). Only a mattter of time now until it is complete.

Another quick update on the Me P-1111... The canopy is futured and attached, take a look at the handpainted cockpit gauges.

Done. The antennae/cannon et al are left off because I'm planning on a few renos (including building a dedicated model cabinet) and I don't want to attach any delicate bits until the chaos ends.
Two total repaints. But it's a good looking bird finally.

I have joined this campaign because I have several models that I want to get built and it runs to Decemeber and I would like to get all these finished for the Scale Modelworld show in November. Its a tall order but I'm hoping that I can get at least 3 of these built, we'll see
First up is the 1/32 Eduard Bf 109E-1, the photo doesn't show it very well bet the RLM02 parts have been painted and there are some sub assemblies done for the cockpit. A Klear coat has been sprayed so I just need to get a wash on do the detail painting and finish the cockpit before its ready to close the fuselage halves.
This next one is actually further ahead than the picture suggests but I was a bit busy when I was trying to get the photos done for this and just grabbed a few parts. This one stalled due to the lack of info on the cockpit colours. It is also 1/32 scale, Can you guess what it is?
This is also further on than the picture suggests it is 1/24 I bet anyone knows what this is
This next one is again 1/32, it is the Hasegawa P-47. This one has stalled because I want to finish it as "No Guts No Glory" but I am having great difficulty getting the checker masks to fit the cowling accurately enough. I have almost decided that I will give that up and go for the strips of masking tape method, or finish it as "Big Ass Bird"? I need to sort this out before I can move on
The last one is the one that I am concentrating on at the moment, the Hobby Boss 1/32 Spitfire Mk V I have started to paint on the markings on this

Thanks Bob! I believe I'm the first one in the gallery. Not bad for a build I've given up on more times than I care to mention. I had to swear off touching any other kits until I had this finished.

Thanks Rob, I will be posting some pictures later, the Spit Mk v has moved on and so as the P-47, even though it is only a miniscule amount it is progress
Congratulations Richard, a mighty effort

The Air Marshall Islands Do.228 is starting to look like getting finished.
I'm some pleased with that red and white stripe!
I have the title decals to go with the flag and reg number, but have yet to draw up the tail.
Then its just the landing gear and some detail painting.

@Jonathan--great job on a tiny kit! Whether paint or decal those stripes came out laser straight and you have a right to be elated. Can't wait to see more!

I'm impressed with the work going on, I'll have to get back to my assortment of unfinished kits including the AH64.

If the 49 days and nights of rain have not ruined the Earhart Vega decals and when I get the E-50 done for the paper panzers campaign ( it ends 7-30) done...
Looks like it is going to need a re-reprint as well.

Special Hobby's F2A Brewster. But which variant, I can't quite tell. Which one is it?

I finished it.
1/144 Welsh models vacuform kit of Dornier 228.
Air Marshall Islands decals home made on Microscale film. the only kit provided decals used were the windows. Paints are Tamiya acrylics.

I have moved on a bit with my Spitfire Mk Vb. All the markings have been painted on, including the dashed lines for the wing tip trestles and the warnings over the wheel wells.
Next up will be the few stencil decals and I need to drill the holes for the IFF wires. At the moment though I am trying to work out how to replicate the fixing on the tail plane for those IFF wires?

@Jon--excellent excellent job on the custom-made decals. And that little kit was vacuform to boot!? Outstanding!
@Mal--did you say those markings are painted on!? Wholly crap, they look fantastic! The whole thing looks great. It's hard to tell its a model and not the real thing.
Keep up the good work everyone! I hope to get to my procrastinated build shortly.

Jonathan, your Dornier is a good looking model. Van interesting subject, will be interested in seeing more. Mal, always a good job of course, well done. Richard great looking FW too. If I left anyone out, sorry. This has been a good thread to follow. Heaven knows, I should be in this campaign. I have a Hasegawa F-102 which is languishing half done in the box! Russell

The first coat of paint has finally been applied to the little ME P-1111, an undercoat of humbrol 31 to match the cockpit interior.

@ Brent: would love to see what you have done with your gunship.
@ Eetu: Hello and welcome.
@ Jonathan: very imppresive, love the finish.
@ Mal: the Spit is looking fime and your masking is a lesson that I have followed in the past to use on my own a/c. I also build rubber powered free flight scale and need to talk to you re: national insignia that I could apply over doped tissue.
@ Keith: procrastination is an art form, at least in my house.
@ Russell: would love to see you finish the F102 with lots of photos.
@ Van: just one question, how do you hold your model down to keep it from flying away with the airbrush?
Bob

Okay, you convinced me! I will join this campaign. Surely, surely, with 6 months to go I can finish this model. I would like to display it with my F-100. Here are the requisite photos to start my entry. Russell
P.S. My F-100F (72 scale of course, AMT/ERTL kit) One of the first times I used Vallejo paint
