Hi All,
I've signed up for the HQ III campaign, it will give me a chance to finish some previously started subjects {from other campaigns} and / or my own unfinished builds.
Hopefully this year the contract and consignment builds will ease off a little.

Howdy Y'all
Here's an old photo of a Monogram P-47 I wanted to do a couple of years ago. Will this suffice or would you like a new photo (no problem to do so)?
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

@ Allen: thanks for setting up the HQIII campaign and it looks like there are (9) already signed up including my self.
@ Mark: what do you have planned this time? I still have that Otaki P-47 an Airfix Bf 109F, and some more still packed away.
@ Rob: hello and thanks for all of the airbrush help, which projects are you preparing to finish or are there too many to list

.
@ Don: love that Monogram P-47, I still remember when it came out I would drool over the box until I purchased several. As to your question, if that is still the state of your build it is ok with me, BTW mine is in about stage.

Well the P-51 needs a lot of detail paint and fiddly bits. Both the A-7 and F-105 need to spend some time in the paint shop (SEA camo) and under-wing stores. The F-102 just needs a fix to the scuff pads on the intakes and then it;s ready for missiles, undercarriage and missiles.
I've got 3 on the ways for current campaigns, so it'll be touch and go for awhile.

Oh dear, I've got so many eligible kits...
I'll just have to see how many of them make it through the process.

Welcome Jessica and Jonathan, maybe this will be a chance to make the incomplete stack a little smaller. Mark, I think that P-51 has been around for sime time now. Or am I mistaken?

Yes, since Mustang Heaven in 2010? Like I said, I got the NMF done, highlited some panels, found out I trapped the tail wheel in the up right and locked position, It still needs the OD on the nose and the red rudder.

I'm here again.
I got this far on my 1/72 Revell Germany helicopter for the Support/Service Aircraft campaign last year, and then it went into HQ II, and it's still looking the same now. My biggest hurdle is the decals I want to print for UW MedFlight.

I've been doing battle with armor kitbashes lately, so I'm ready to get back to aerial stuff.
Cheers!

Hello Sean,
My P-47 has been around for over 10 years in the same stage. Do you think this is the time that your chopper will get finished, I cannot find the decals as of yet

Hi All,
Looks like some interesting kits will be done for HQ III, first off I'll do my 48 scale Hobby Boss F-111c {and I hope I don't have the same problems as last year} and see what else is laying around that can follow.

Hello Rob,
I cannot wait for you finish the F-111, that is going to look great. I was given a tour of the F-111 production line back in 1968 with the Dallas IPMS I think that I was 15 at the time. What are the (2) large tires for?

Hello all.
I seem to have been building this one for decades, but it has only been a hanger queen for about 5 years.

ICMs little Su-2. I have always liked the looks of this plane but the fit etc of this model is not the best..
This campaign may actually force me to finally finish it.
Cheers boys and girls

Bob,
The 2 large tyres you asked about are from an Italeri 24 scale kit of a DAF truck, which was my contribution of my model club's group build {which was last year}, but I was unable to complete it.

Possibly my first Hanger Queen in the que. Hasegawa 1/72 F-102A Delta Dagger. It's left over from the Delta Dawn campaign. It was mostly painted except the canopy needed touched up, never mind the windscreen should have been ADC gray, then I noticed I'd skipped painting the scuff strips on top of the inlets. Finally figured out that I could get it done with black painted decal film. Do it's moving slightly forward now.

My entry for HQIII is from the Great War Campaign of 2012; a Testors Spad XIII of Selfridge Field, MI, 1919. Now I will do it in the post war olive and stars.

I just enlisted... have been away from the workbench for almost a year, perfect campaign to re-start some builds.
Couple of Revell 1:48 P-51Ds started maybe couple years ago. Cheers

@ Warren: I have some decals, but they are packed away in boxes and I cannot find those specific boxes and I cannot bring myself to purchase new since I dont want to spend that extra cash at the moment so I may try to paint them for the first time. Glad to see ya though.
@ James: Welcome to HQIII, maybe you will be able to finish those dusty hold overs now.
@ Brent: I remember that kit from the 1960s, but my finished product looked no where as good as your unfinished Spad

I'll take another swing at the hated Dragon FW190 I guess. Finished this time round or die trying.
