Jose, I agree with Iain gloss may help. I had the same problem with my flat coat (Vallejo Matt Varnish)so I took a brush and some water then brushed very thin coats of water over the varnish and it blended out fine.
I am DONE! and photos in the gallery. I finished a campaign, its been a while since Ive done this.

I'm not going to finish this campaign guys. I'm having trouble finishing seams and getting paint to lay down on this old mold.

@Lain and @Bob,
Yes, this suck!!!
The picture has a second hand with cote and water....
I will try the action wich Bob sugested....
I´m so bad to loose this campaign...
In fact, I think that I need to repaint the aircraft and I will use the other decal option in the west front...

Im definitely not finishing, I just havent had the time Id thought Id have this past month. I'll still be working on it though, Im ready to start painting once I finish rebuilding the rib detail on the ailerons around the wing tip seams.
Great work to all who finished!
Jose, Sorry to hear about your flat coat I definitely understand how that can take the momentum right out of the build. Hopefully you can save it with some gloss coat!
Bob, great work getting your Hayabusa done I think it looks pretty sharp
Lap man, Beautiful Hawk! I really like the look of the various interwar era biplanes in the Chinese airforce colors.

Jose, I found the problem with my Vallejo Matt Varnish. There were clumps in the bottom of the bottle and I did not strain the fluid before spraying through the a/b. Took the a/b apart to clean and found all sorts of debris in the area of the needle and the cup. Now all that is needed to finish up would be some lube, which I cannot find.

Jeff, nice job on your 39. I love the exhaust and weathering, what is your method?

Bob,
The only thing I did on this one is preshade after the primer coat.
For the weathering and exhaust I used soft artist pastels. I sand some off on to paper then use different size brushes to apply and blend.

As usual Michael another sterling effort and a great campaign with some mighty interesting builds. It has been a pleasure to follow all of your builds gents! Congrats to all who completed and commiseration to those that have for various reasons been unable to finish in time. Look forward to seeing your next projects in the future.
