Well I have the WMW 1:48 Gloster VI ("Golden Arrow") and am also about to order the Techmod 1:48 Friedrichshafen FF 33e . This is the WWI two seater float plane that was assigned to the German raider "Wolf".

Oh I'm getting quite excited about this GB. Have to clear the decks of three builds in the next month to commit fully to it.
In the meantime here are snaps of the cockpit work that was done on the Sunderland I picked up. And one of the aeroclub engines
nestled in the cowling. These are really nice thanks Jim for donating them. As you can see I'll need to be extra careful to keep up with
the work already done.
I overexposed the head-on shot so you can see the radio operators table.
PS Fear not the other control column is broken but in the box.

It was all done for me. The guy who started it has shuffled off this
mortal coil. I hope I can continue half as good as he set out.
It is lovely work though isn't it? Got some photos mailed to me
from an aircraft collection with G-AGER in camo and in BOAC
trim. It lets me see how the lettering was done for these wartime
civvy Sundies. I wonder why they flew internees from Portugal
to Ireland? I guess two neutral countries doesn't seem like they
are shipping them back to fight/fly again.

Getting close to the start date, and still can't decide what I'll be doing.
Now which one?
Sopwith Baby
Macchi Mc.72
Fairey Swordfish
or
Hansa Brandenberg W.29
Being drawn to the Hansa.

(GROAN)...Just a couple of weeks to go, and I've changed my mind about a half dozen times already. I'm really glad this Campaign is 10 months long...I think the only solution is...Multiple builds !!
Cheers,
Mike

Don't know to laugh or cry.
Those engines are wasps not pegasuses (pegasii?)
two banks of seven not one bank of nine. Doh!
Wasp

Pegasus
http://www.enginehistory.org/G&jJBrossett/Bristol%20Hercules%20XVIII%20side.JPG
Not installed until post war. They look so much better than the nasty
kit versions so either my plan of scheme will change, I can't really modify
the engines to look like a pegasus
Sorry Jim for your trouble, but I either find pegasus or make four.
Also that means I'll have to find a liberator or couple of dakotas to use the wasps in
If you want them back at anytime before that they'll be here for you.
I do have a Shvestov m-62 I could modify to look like a pegasus.
Nah sod it I'll just order some from aeroclub they make great stuff. Done!
Cheap delivery to UK too.
There that wasn't so hard. Just blew my monthly modelling budget of £10.
It'll be worth it.
