Howdy
@ Jessica-Sweet! I like the Virgin Atlantic 747 and the YS-11E. I'll need to upload some photos of my latest swap meet finds. Is that allowed? The Postman didn't really bring it to me if I went to a swap meet.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Very nice Richard I may have to look into picking up a copy of that book for myself. Any impressions so far?

Mike - First impressions are very good - I have only just begun but it is very readable so far - not just a blathering of dates and specifications . I also need to correct my statement regarding it being an updated reprint . This is apparently not quite accurate. It seems that the authors had previously published their research as a series of installments in other media ,both electronic and print and this book represents a gathering of previously published installments along with added photos and updated information.
I had hoped for photos or illustrations of Nakajima single row radials but there are none included - perhaps they (the photos) don't even exist -
Anyway , highly recommended so far - Richard

Howdy Y'all
@Franck-Very nice! I need to find some camouflage putty myself.
This what I picked up at the last swap meet I attended. My wife would kill me if the postman brought all this.
The Helldiver came with all the extra's; decals and Big Ed set. I couldn't pass it up for $35 US.
At the rate I build, these should give 2-3 years of building pleasure.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Hey Don,
Is the Tempest a new tool, or is it the same plastic they released twenty years ago?
I really must try to finish that build one day.
Cheers,
Hugh

Hugh-I'm not sure if it's a new tool or not. I suspect not, Eduard is notorious for re-releasing other's kits. I haven't opened the box. I try to leave them sealed until I'm ready to build.
Take care,

Great catch, politicni! No, I am not envious ....
Last club meeting added this beauty to my stash I hope the fitting is better than on their Do 215 B-5 ....
As I have some special decals this Ju 88 will be fin(n)ished in Finnish markings .... And it won't take that long until the kit is on my bench.
Happy modelling!
