Wow! Alot of Russian/Soviet jets and Ju-88s lately.
Nothing earth shattering here on my porch but Ive reconnected with this old familiar friend for the possible vac campaign that might be forming. The indomitable Arii/Otaki 1/48 Bf 109G in its amt Ertl boxing! Nostalgically wrapped in paper and shoe horned into my mail box!

This was one of my childhood favorites, and one of a very few I built twice or more. I still have one or most of one in a box somewhere up in the attic. Hopefully soon I'll be bashing this kits wings together with a falcon vacuform conversion, into either a tall tail G-14 or possibly a G-12 trainer. I may then try something fun like turn the remaining parts into a derelict fuselage with graffi or maybe have some GIs sitting on it

The Fw 58 "Weihe" looks nice!
Our expo last weekend brought 2 more kits to my stash. After I have enjoyed building Zvezda's Pe-2 I thought I should go for another of their kits and got the Su-2.
I have only the Gripen as a single seater, so I was happy to find the twin seater at our flea market sale ....

Decided to pick up a little plastic for my birthday. These arrived today:

Hopefully the pilots I ordered will arrive soon.

Hi all
My Henschel Hs 123 arrived today direct from GasPatch:
It was amazingly efficient delivery! I only ordered it last Friday, GasPatch dispatched it within three hours, and it arrived in the UK on Monday morning!
All the best

My 1/144 OzMods pilots arrived the other day from
BNA Model World
Man, these guys are tiny, but I think they'll add that final touch to the aircraft I posted above. Well, that's the plan, anyway.

Spud, those Sweet kits look interesting. Heard a lot of good things about that manufacturer.
Over the lest couple of months I've done a bit of overtime and put most of it aside to finally get myself an Xbox One. But I decided to treat myself to something else instead.
This one has been high on wish list for ages and does not disappoint. A lot of options that I will have to thoroughly study the instructions to work out.
I guess Battlefield One and Mass Effect Andromeda can wait a few more months.

Got these this week.
I saw the Mania Type-99 going cheap on evilbay and a I don't have any Japanese bombers, I thought what the hell. Pleasently surprised by it given the vintage. I think Hasegawa stil rebox this kit today.
Also have the Kovozavody Prostejov LVG C.VI. This looks to be a fantastic kit and I can't wait to make a start. Molded on the one sprue and has decals for two options, the prototype and 'Black 7' from an unknown unit.

Thanks. It's a very nice looking little kit. I've been tempted to make a start and build log but had a few problems with my camera. Didn't want to without taking good photos.
I'm hoping that it will be a success for KP and encourage them to issue more WW1 subjects, especially 2-seaters. Would be great to see an RE-8 and Albatros C types.

I took a punt on the luftwaffe in colour, but flicking through, it looks like it'll be a great reference. I like the shot of the ground crew hand painting on the spinner spiral. Would've thought he'd use a decal!

Looking forward to build this gem for the "Hot out of the Molds 2017" campaign!
Have fun, mates
