That's a superlative Mustang, Allen. I like the subdued NMF. Thanks for sharing!

OK, work has been started and continues on my P-38J Lightning.
More can be seen here: http://s142.photobucket.com/albums/r100/viperatl/HSGW%20P-38J%20Lightning%20%201-48/
Here's the nose wheel. I wanted to open up the spokes and found out that they were misaligned.
Cockpit installation.
Current progres of the fuselage.

Very nice build, Felipe. Nice looking Mustang - I always prefered blondes.
I have made more progress on my Thunderbolt for this campaign. I really love that colourful scheme - even more now when I see it on the model.
More to follow soon

Wow, you all did some awesome work herewhile I was away. Really, I'm amazed!!!
Been busy a bit lately, know I wanted to do the planes in just one week, but watcha gonna do...
There you go:
THAT qualifies for naked, I'd say...
Some really amazing printing those decals were. No dots visible, just plain fair...well, ahhh, skin
Here's some more:
Can anyone post the link for the galery I'm supposed to put this in? I'm sorry, I wasn't able to find it...
Thanks for watching, please comment...

Wow! great build, Leo. Very nice details. That is a really beautiful gir...I mean P-47 I almost feel a little embarassed posting my P-47 right after yours. I had some varnish problems and silvering problems with the decals.
Anyway, here is my build for this campaign. The Revell 1/48 P-47N. An okay kit, but not up to the standard of Hasegawa or Tamiya. Anyway, here she is with double pin-ups on the cowling

So far all the main decals are on just the stencils, attaching bits and bobs, weathering and varnishing then I should be finished barring any disasters

Well it just had to be done The Zotz B-17 Heavenly Bodies decal set is well worth the money. Loads of options and as soon as I saw this one I just had to do this one. (Im half tempted to buy the 1/48 set even though I don't have a 1/48 B-17 )

Hi everyone.
Been on hold while hacking away at my sherman...
@Jesper: You've got to be kidding, you've got one awesome BMF there!!! And lovely fading, too!!! I faced some finish problems on my p-51 (see there) after Alclading it. I tend to douse my planes with a few healthy coates of nicely thinned Gunze clear before proceding to decals. And yes, also the BMF ones. I like to controll the glossyness with my Xtracrylics Flat afterwards.Makes for a smoother finish and you can be a thug with your decal softener
@felipe: Woah, that's a coment worth celebrating with an icecold beer! Coming from the man who built that p-51! Thanks a lot!! The blue colour is Tamyia Skyblue Gloss mixed with medium blue flat (methinks). Afterwards i broke up the eveness by lighting up with pure skyblue. I always thin Tamyia paints with laquer thinner such as Gunze BlueLabel. Makes for relaxing spray characteristics. The canopy was cleaned of tape residues with WD40 aplied most sparingly (!!!) with a q-tip. Be shure to be done with everything before appliying it!!!
@samantha: nice!! handling is a problem, though, right?
@Mark: really kewl build! and sweet decals, too!!! you 've got to love the patchy coat of the highspeed-Jugs...
