Great job Guy !! I did a double-take when I first saw the pics, and thought you might have posted in the wrong thread. It's great to see a non-US aircraft in the gallery (albeit RCAF markings) !!
Excellent work mate.
Cheers, D

I've posted a couple of pics of my entry on the gallery, now that its complete. I thought I would do something totally different for this campaign, as everyone else has done WW2 planes.
Sorry I can't do any close-ups, no matter how hard I try, they always come out blurred, so I'm afraid imaging software will be needed to zoom in. You can still make out there is a lady on the nose though!
thanks
Mike

I started it a few weeks ago when I realised time was running out, just finished it over the weekend. I didn't say what I was building as I wanted to do something different than everyone else!
thanks

Making progress but oh so slow thanks to the complicated fit of the Hasegawa P-38 kit. I should be able to make the Nov 1 deadline once I attach the engine booms to the wing.
Wing.
Another lovely problem to deal with. I lined up one wing using the ailerons was a mistake and using the tips and working inward was another mistake on the other side. However all of the pre-fit work should payoff as there will be little to fill or little to repair at the join lines by the booms.

Just wanted to confirm that I will be extending the date to november 1st to make sure we get in anybody left behind as I have had a few more ask
So, I have a little more time to enter my aircraft? I have been kind of late on my building, there has been a pair of campaigns that I have missed, included one in wich I was the moderator. Well, will try my best (Oh my God!! we are screw!).

I'm steadily working away on "Rozzie Geth" and am halway through applying the stencil decals so almost there really.
Life has certainly conspired to get in the way on this one, and its also seemed like everytime I've gone anywhere near the thing I've spent the next couple of days repairing the damage I keep doing to it :S
It'll get there..............eventually.

Don't be too hard on yourself Nige, these P-47's can be a bit tricky. It helps if you know a bit about them, maybe you should do some reading ??
