That's a nice-looking B-17, Samantha.
Well, the nose art is finally on my P-38. Still some work to do to get the lady blended in (am nervous about using decal setting solution on the Pyn-Up nose art decal). The regular decals are GREAT, and I do love the way the nose art decal looks thus far.
Regards - Tom

Tom: Looking good there, how long did you wait between paint drying and applying the decals?

I'm coming close, but not close enough Justin. Unfortunately medical issues have become present in a close relative, which needless to say has significantly pushed back on my projects.
I will continue my build in the thread I have created for it, and focus on learning the techniques that I need to develop for the next campaign.
Get that Pin-Ups 2 campaign proposal up, I'm ready to enlist and have a fighting chance this time

I managed to get a couple of coats of varnish on my build for this campaign today.
Hopefully I'll be able to get the various bits and pieces attached tomorrow and post a finished photo.

All finished.
The lights absolutely rubbish today so a quick snapshot uploaded into the gallery will have to suffice for now.
Looking forward to "Pin Ups 2"!

My entry is done and uploaded:
P-38H "Thoughts of Midnite" from 431st FG / 475th FG in New Guinea, 1943. This aircraft was flown by Maj. Verl Jett and Capt. Robert Herman.
Photos were taken by fellow club member Gerald Voigt of Hawkeyes Hobbies (http://hawkeyes-squawkbox.com/). Thanks, Gerald!
As noted in my other posts, the Hasegawa kit was IMHO, awful in terms of fit and engineering (but nice detail).
Thanks for a great campaign, Justin - especially the part where you gave us an extension

Keep goin', Joe! We're still watching!
That's going to look great with the unit colors (and I can empathize with painting the $^#@^ stripes! )
Regards-
Tom

Thanks guys. Work continues on the floor and in between I'm getting some stickers on the Lightning.
Tom - you're right this has been a tough build and to think that I didn't want to wait for a resin cockpit on my first choice of the F-105. Oh well. This thing is also tough to handle when putting on decals and trying not to touch setting/drying decals. Your P-38 came out looking great, love the nost art.

The flooring project has started in hopes that it'll be done before the Thanksgiving crowd shows up.
In the meantime I've put some stickers on and started weathering provided there is time and aspirin available.
