Hi folks,
@ VonHengest: I'm not to sure the best way to apply a whitewash, but I would think that the hairspray technique would be you best bet- easy to take a shedload of chips off to make it look like it's been hastily applied. Personally, I hate anything to do with white paint, simply because it is too heavy and takes loads of coats to get it looking right.
I think there was a Winter Wonderland campaign run a while back- maybe if you scroll through that thread you might get a few ideas.
@ dcandel- camo is looking good- the lines are dead sharp with now seepage (which tends to happen to me from time to time!). What pigments did you use for the panels? The effect looks great.

Very good then, I'll give it a try

Hi All
I've been asked a couple of times where to post finished entries for campaigns
The official Close Air Support Campaign Gallery can be found Here
If you log in and it takes you back to the galleries home page then you need to go to AeroScale » Aeroscale Campaigns » 2010 Campaigns » CAS (Close Air Support) Campaign and then upload your pictures.
Hope this Helps

Hi folks,
Coming to the end of the campaign? I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were some great builds out there and I got lots of tips/ideas from the thread.
@ Daniel: Great finishing man- looks great (but what were those pigments!?!)
@ Alcatraz: Pity you didn't make the line in time, but hey, I'm sure there'll be a gettum done or honger queen campaign on the go that you could enter your Dragonfly in.
@ Lapman- lovely Stuka- I'd love to know if there were more Sturmoviks completed in the campaign than Stukas! But there again, there were a shedload of A10s built in the campaign as well!
No last minute B52 entires then???
See you's in other campaigns!

So I'm getting these finished up right at the deadline. I decided to build four 1/72 scale helicopters for this campaign. The Cobra and Apache are Tamiya (re-boxed Italerie?) the UH 60 from Hasegawa and the Tiger UHT from Hobby Boss. They were mostly just built out of box except the Cobra and Apache were rescribed and the Hobby Boss needed the antenna, don't know why they decided not to include it. The Cobra was the toughest and the UH 60 the easiest. So on to the pics.
