Hi all,

very pretty warbirds in this campaign !

Here is mine, on the beginning, the Lavochkin La-7 from the Eduard 1/72 "dual combo" box.
I will do the "box art" one (difficult to choose with the 8 possibilities...)
There's a lot of PE:

It will need some putty for the next step...

Cheers
nico

Hm .... if you use your phone to take pictures, then I guess you get calls on your camera?
Well, I see good progress here in this campaign with some really great builds. I've just added 2 pics of my Spit to the gallery. More can be seen here.

Happy modelling!

Applied the first coat of Flat Gull Gray to the 1/32 scale F-4S. Still have to do a little clean-up on the resin leading edge slats because the fit was so bad.

Dave------Great looking F-15 cockpit!!

Regards, Ian

This is looking to be one of the best all-round campaigns I've seen. It's going to make for a jaw dropping gallery. I also see a lot of kits I've made in the past. Watching eagerly. Hoping I get a split second to address my FW190 and 110 languishing on the bench....

Sorry my pictures didn't post, I'm still working on it, I gave myself a choice of a bf110c or a 45 year old Spad 13 from revel and I chose the Spad because we need more WW1 aircraft. I'm taking Pictures as I go and will post them when I can.

Decals...

I had forgoten how horribly inadequate Hobbycraft's instructions were. And these were the good sheets, too. There are a lot of stencils left over that I have no idea where to put. Time to do a little searching...

Hi Jessica
2012 and kit makers still have not sorted out translation/paint colour/decals/parts with no home!
The info is out there if they only took the time to search for it.

That's a 1995 kit with the dust blown off the box. And at that, it's far superior to the 1980s Hobbycraft kits which had mostly blank drawings which sort of matched the kit parts, if you looked at them in the dark, and no colour information at all beyond the box top painting. I've been spoiled by modern instruction sheets lately

Does anyone have an instruction sheet which has more placement details for a Do 17. The hobby craft instructions are mystifying to say the least. Thanks

Okay, now they're done.

Not bad for a first attempt at airbrushing, but there's definitely room for improvement.

If I can not figure out the interior placement of the items I will change my a/c. Can anyone assist me with some help in building the interior of a Do 17?
