I see you have the same problem with the nose gear bay as I have had on all 4 I've built so far. Yet to figure out (or see) a solution to it

Did some work on the F-4S. The front office is mostly completed, including the CAM resin seats. Added some sheet stock and lead foil details to the bang seats as well. I will add the pull handles and joy-sticks at the very end. Most of the repair plates are sanded off the fuselage so the major construction will start this week.
Andy--------------love the Lightning so far.
Best wishes everybody, Ian

Thanks Sam! F-4 interiors are fun because they are more visible than some other jet interiors. Should have the fuselage closed up tonight.

Worked on the F-4 "Sierra" some more today. Cockpit tub is installed and the fueselage is together. Assembly has been very straight forward so far with no problems to speak of. I hope to have all the sub-assemblies together this weekend.

Welcome to the campaign Dave.
Nice progress on the F-4 Dave a few years ago I made the 1/48 Hasegawa Phantom it was the limited edition boxing that was in the 25th Anniversary. Seem to remember ended up with an Aires cockpit in it.
Here we are:

Andrew is nice to see an early fighter in the campaign and great work so far don't envy you with the pe switches though. Always fancied having a crack at an early aircraft subject maybe in the new year

If you do an early fighter the DVII is a good choice, very colourful and very little rigging, I actually had 4 in the stash but chose this one as time was limited, the Nieuport 11 and Pfalz DIII would probably have been OK but the Bristol Fighter would have been a struggle. I like the Eduard kits, usually accurate with good fits and reasonably priced. Nice F-4.

A few more details

Fokker used lozenge fabric all over so although colour doped outside the pattern showed inside. Framing to be added in the cockpit yet and floor needs to be built

Is it too late to get in on this little party?
I've got a P-40 that's begging to be built, so I'd like to sign up if that's OK.

The campaign runs until Hallowe'en, so there's more than enough time to do a P-40. C'mon in, the water's fine!

So, for my first Aeroscale build, I'm selected Academy's 1/72ndP-40E. It will be painted and decaled in a New Guinea RAAF scheme pretty much OOB.

Looking forward to seeing it progress
